When are we having the Kulusevski conversation?
It won't be with Ange in the room...

I do wonder if today gave us a glimpse of what we might expect in some games with Maddison playing a little deeper, and Kulusevski playing in behind Richi.

The shithousing of darts celebrations was top notch by the way. We have a real "have that" mentality when things are going against us. I love it.

Great result. But they make fucking hard work for themselves.

Also a great win against shithousery at its finest. Maupay alone did enough in the first half to last a season.....COYS

Was Bentancar a tactical substitution? Wasn’t his best game but with the game so much more stretched in the 2nd half I think he would have offered a lot more

Moving on...not the best performance but we got the win and have a few key players returning now.

Build on this. Plenty of winnable games coming up. Let's go on a run and get a bit of confidence and momentum in for a fairly tricky run in.

He hasn’t looked the same after the Villa game

That ref was biased as fuck. The way he let them take that last corner and clearly had no intention of sending off Norwood or Norgard or whatever the fuck he is called. He was doing all he could to help them tonight. A total disgrace.

Great result.

I'd like to again vent my frustration on how below par these refs are.

How can you be 5 yards away from that foul and think it's a shoulder barge.

It's just so amateur. Sunday league officiating.
It's not just us, every team is suffering in some respect from the poor officials.

But we have been on the wrong end of it since the Liverpool game. Its not normal. That's 15 games ago now. And part of the cause of the injuries to Madders, Bentancur after his return too.

Unfortunately(or fortunately depending on how you look at it), our manager is just a stand up guy and accepts that things go against us sometimes. But I don't remember a game in the last 15 where an opposition player(s) hasn't gotten away with a yellow card foul. Tonight might have been the worst. 8 fouls by Norgaard, 6 after his yellow, and one absolutely blatant one 5 yards from the ref that wasn't given. It's not good enough

I guess in terms of positives, you can say that they didn't actually concede without giving them two massive, massive gifts. Werner showed his quality too which was encouraging to see.

It did just feel very careless throughout though, which unfortunately was probably what gave Brentford the most hope, other than their compact defending.

A bit too much sloppiness all round, but we got what was most important. Looking forward to seeing Sarr back. Think there's also an argument for Johnson over Kulusevki on the right against Everton too, but different matches sometimes just suit different players.

You know the ref’s performance will not be reviewed as we are not Liverpool or Man City. He was shocking and not the first time either I have seen him before and he was shocking that afternoon. How he can overlook Noorsgaards antics is beyond me. Anyway we won so upwards and onwards. Richy, Timo & Romero all excellent

Norgaard should have been sent off. Clearest 2nd yellow you'll ever see, and then he gets a header at goal from a corner. absolute fucking scenes if that went in.

Richarlison was fantastic. Arguably his best performance for us. I don’t think he gets enough credit for his hold up play, especially with the amount of times he’s able to beat much taller defenders in aerial duels.
He has improved so much since returning from his injury. Clearly was something impacting his play.
