Is he moaning because Havertz wasn't shown a red card for his wreckless tackle in the first half?
Its obviously not his job to be likeable to others, other than his players and own fanbase.
But my word he really isnt someone you can take too.
Petulant, behaves like a prat on the touchline and then gets smarmy in press conferences about how he had "65 formations' or whatever it was.
When his players stop enjoying the football they play, he may start to find a few of them don't like him anymore
Arteta has always been fairly unlikable, but I think now he's finally lost the plot.
The goal should have been ruled out for the shove on Gabriel, fine.
HIs team also should have been down to 10 for Havertz' dangerous play, just like Nketiah against us.
He can cry conspiracy all he wants, but his team didn't create enough chances to score goals.
Had they won 2-1 would he have been raging us much then?
No. He fails to keep a level head and take proportionate accountability, which filters down to his team.
I think he's a good coach, but a terrible manager.
He's thrown his toys out of the pram too many times now, and it all has the feeling of a late stage Mourinho, Keegan or Benitez tenure.
Ahhhh he was trying too though… you could tell he was on the verge of crying during the analysis… his whole speech (trying to be balanced through gritted teeth) was leading to ‘but he pushed him two hands’ (he didn’t sound unbiased at that point). Lineker moved it on making Keown look a bit of a baby. When even Keown on MOTD isn’t defending Arteta he has to know he’s got problems!
The nickname for Richard Keys tickled me…
