I’ve just noticed some arrows are fatter than other arrows, not sure if that’s significant or the artist just trying to mix it up a bit.
I noticed that too. Mixing it up makes sense. Add gravitas to the whole thing.

Can't believe we're not on first for match of the day.

Wonder if United had won would that of been different

Was also surpirsed last week that Brentford had a much higher xG....how exactly is that calculated? Seems off.
Both Brentford and united had shots with a clearer sight on goal.

For example, Antony only had to Curl it around Van de Ven whereas Porro had to shoot through players from further out.

Same result but goals are scored more often from Antonys position.

Doesnt mean United deserved to win or had more chances, just goals are scored more often from those positions

I've just studied it in more detail. It really is a load of old bollocks. There is only one real football term and that is "most passes" attributed to Romero. "Most Centrality" attributed to Sarr isnt really a real thing.

Absolutely gutted I forgot to record the game. Just got back. What a game, what a performance and the atmosphere was really good….amazing what can happen if you get behind them

It had to be Liverpool. Remember they are God's football team and the most important side to have ever played the game with the best fans ever.

This is a reply from a Liverpool fan I know when I text to say it was good to beat the Mancs.

"Those were my thoughts! 2nd half you weren’t bad, but Utd were shite! Tbh I can’t wait to play either of ya 🤣🤭😉"

Ahh the humility.

Not sure what the xg, and talk about shots on goal and I don't know if it's taken into account but half the Man Utd shots on target were about as much danger as a back pass into the keeper's arms.

Great result. Missed the second half due to an appt. 😭

Still work to be done and this isn't a negative post. Brentford could have won the game and United's finishing wasnt great. No complaints though as we got 4 points in two games and our football is exciting. Ange knows he still has work to do but as long as we get results at the same time its a bonus for me!! Roll on this season!!

What pleased me the most was the way they went to pieces after our second goal. I don't think I've ever seen a Utd team turn it in like they did today. Fergie must be spitting feathers. The prima Dona's lost their cool and composure and were looking around for someone to blame. It's been a while since we had that effect on the opposition especially Utd. It's only a game I know and there are far more important things in life but right at this moment life seems pretty good.

Watching that tackle on Romero back on MOTD, it was 100x more a pen than the one given against us last week. If United fans want to complain about a 50/50 on a handball and ignore that then they can drink their own boiling piss.

Re-watching the game, and I'm not seeing that UTD were the better team in the first half, not even sure they had the better chances

Just got back from the match and my God I’m still buzzing (the pints might be partly responsible for that). The atmosphere in the stadium was absolutely electric, best I’ve seen it in ages. What a performance from the lads, especially our midfield. Such a lovely balance between Biss, Maddo and Sarr, that 2nd half was magnificent. Still early days with lots to improve but chuffed with where things are headed! Up the fucking Spurs!

Ange made a great point in his post match interview on Sky how Maddison coming into the club with no baguage was and just wanting to be great was a breath of fresh air that the club desperately needed.

It proves the point that you almost always want to be evolving the playing squad so things don't go stale.
It was noticeable on TV how much he rallied the troops just before kick off. The camera followed him around to most of his high fives and hugs of his teammates. We might have him (and Bissouma) at the perfect time now. This is their big big chance to lead a top team at just the right time in their careers.

Hopefully it lasts and Spurs don't make them jaded, like me!
