Soloman for Kulu at HT for me.

We looked a bag of nerves for 20 minutes in the middle of the half, got a little stronger and finished better. We're not being as brave with the passes in MF as we were against Brentford though, we could do with releasing the ball a bit earlier into Maddison.

I think the intent is all there, just need to figure out and recruit the right fits for the system. A few square pegs in round holes at the moment. Think we’ll get stronger as the season goes on.

Front 3 is still the glaring issue.

It’s typical Spurs really. Apart from a couple of periods under Harry and Poch there’s always been one department of the team that’s a problem.

We’ve now swapped a position of no midfield and a deadly front 3 to midfield ( with Bentacour as well to come back) looking stronger than it has for a while, but the attack needing rebuilding.

I just can't see the point of having Sonny play in that position - out so wide. It doesn't suit him or play to his strengths. Perhaps he's a bit lost without Harry.

Biggest problem today isn't on the pitch, it's the bench.

It's the worst part about Postecoglou so far. I absolutely hate that we have zero strikers on the bench. It was a problem last week and a problem today. For me, there is no excuse not to at least have Dane Scarlett on the bench; just any alternative for Richarlison, who has never looked up to the level.

Pape Sarr - He's not ready yet, but there is definitely a seriously good player in there. Look forward to his development.
Richy needs more service. Which isn't really happening.

Have a look at what Ange has said about Scarlett. Injury out him back a bit and he's taking a couple of weeks.to assess him.properly,.loan Vs remaining.

Harry has nothing to do with it. He just lack the confidence to take anyone on right now.

I will say that i am not sure the long term impact, but we are fun to watch again even if we are constantly walking on a knifes edge. I'll take it.

Sarr is pure class. He looks exactly like the type of CM we have desperately been trying to find for several years now. Excited to watch him grow.

Udogie continues to look like a stud.

Richy looks like he is just half a step slow in how he reacts to.....well.....everything, passes, pressing, crosses....just seems like he is picking them all up just a little slower than he needs to....hopefully the more he is in the system the better he will get at reading the flow of play, if not he is going to have a rough run of things.

Would like to see Solomon come on for Richarlison, then Son go in the middle, Kulu on the left and Solomon on the right.

We badly need forwards before the end of the window.

Are people having a pop st son. The utd rb is a very good 1 on 1 defender. You can't criticise him for this. Still another 45 minutes. Coys.
