NoNot been following the thread recently but have we had solid ITK about why we aren't progressing with him?
Very clearly JN had an idea of how he thought the project should be run and Levy being the smartest man in every room he's ever been in thinks he knows better so we move to someone less demanding and more trusting
I think my post didn’t come across the way it was supposed to. I’m not an advocate for Mason being our next manager, I’m an advocate for us winning games and if that means Mason gets hired then so be it.We should not be basing our next appointment on the outcome of 3 games. If the club have decided Mason is the man to take us forward how we perform in our last three games should have no influence over that decision. If it does then it means we aren’t completely convinced in his ability.
Personally I don’t think Mason should be in the conversation for our next manager position, but if he is then club need to be 100% behind his appointment regardless of how he performs in the short term. It would be naive to believe a manager with so little experience wouldn’t hit a good number of speed bumps next season if he got the job and the club can’t be second guessing him the minute we do.
I don't think he's making it up, far from it.I don’t think it’s at all fair to imply that because Ally has previously said he’s heard we are in for JN that he’s making it up. Or that what he’s hearing now is made up for that matter.
He’s just reporting what his sources are telling him.
As we are often reminded about any information we get from various different sources, things can change quickly in football.
Nothing explicit. But I shared over some stuff from Prof on Coys where he was hinting that it just basically wasn’t a good fit personality wise. Not been following the thread recently but have we had solid ITK about why we aren't progressing with him?
That sounds like a sensible reason not to proceed - particularly after our last 2 (or 2 and a quarter if you include Nuno) appointments.Nothing explicit. But I shared over some stuff from Prof on Coys where he was hinting that it just basically wasn’t a good fit personality wise.
I get that, but no one knows what conversations have been had, or what has been said.I don't think he's making it up, far from it.
We went with 2 managers who weren't good fits. We don't need a manager who won't pull in the same direction as the board.Nothing explicit. But I shared over some stuff from Prof on Coys where he was hinting that it just basically wasn’t a good fit personality wise.
I think the group of ENIC fans is a lot larger than you might think. This is very true, I just think there is still a small group of fans who still have faith in him and the board to get things right, when they’ve done very little to prove they deserve anymore leeway.
Been doing that for years. Giving them the benefit of the doubt ended with the Nuno debacle for me. As I've said 23 years of excuses and what ifs. Even if they have a legitimate excuse for everything that's gone on in that time, it's still been going on too long.I get that, but no one knows what conversations have been had, or what has been said.
It just seems people want to be angry about things that they don't know about.
I'm refraining from any judgement until i see us play under whoever the manager is.
I would take Ryan over Rodgers. I can not stand that smug shitSlot my preferred option now. But I’d even take Potter or Rodgers - who have both created really good teams in the Prem over lengthy periods - ahead of Ryan.

Where is it stated that Levy wasn't on board with any of the demands? must've missed that.So Nagelsmann has intricate knowledge of how RB Leipzig and Bayern Munich operate, has ideas of how the structure for the football operation should be run to be successful, and Levy wasn't on board with ANY of the demands (DoF, wage structure, transfer policy)...
That seems promising for the new project we are building
Apologies if this has already been shared but seems to back up the idea it's about "fit".
I guess it depends on your starting point (general you, not specific you). If you think the whole board is useless then you will not believe anything as other than spin.and so it begins……the word “fit” used as a deflection tactic….
