We have no fit left back though?

I'm all for trying a new formation but against one of the best pressing teams in the league, away from home, with no left back, and a group of players severely lacking in confidence is recipe for disaster imo.

I think it is time for me to accept a fundamental truth. We are fucking rubbish. I haven't wanted to believe it and always think that we have it in us to rise and show that we have character and pride but that Bournemouth defeat has done me in. Newcastle lost at Villa and we should have been bang up for our game and we put in a performance like that. Now we ourselves travel to play Newcastle and we have a chance to do our own dirty work or yet another chance to show how spineless we are. I can see no other outcome than the latter. Newcastle United 3 Tottenham Hotspur 1. COYS!

With the new manager thread and Levy video and Paratici trial and the beyonce concerts and F1 partnership I completely forgot we are also a football team in freefall based on our performances and lack of direction, we are going to get absolutely mullered up there if we play like we did against Brighton and for parts against Bournemouth.

Don't particularly care who we line-up with, no doubt it'll be rinse and repeat 3-4-3.

Get Slot etc confirmed asap to lift this dark cloud off the club.

Couldn't agree more with this.

It takes a fully functioning, collective performance to win at St James' Park against this Newcastle United side.

Eddie Howe's side have only tasted defeat twice in 22 home matches - both of those to Liverpool. I'd be surprised if Tottenham possess the unity, confidence and midfield power to keep their top-four hopes alive, especially with Newcastle likely to be a wounded animal after their worst performance of the season at Villa Park.

Tottenham have also lost six of their seven Premier League games against current top six teams this season and arrive low on momentum following their 3-2 defeat to Bournemouth.

Newcastle to win... sorry :)

Back 4? Can only assume Lenglet is injured? If Davies is back, that’s huge. Wish Royal was too.

Id be tempted to play Japhet at RB. I do not trust Porro in a back 4.

And yes, a 433 would make the most sense. Sarr deserves a start in midfield. And for FS, give Danjuma a start. Same with Richy if he is fit. Fed up with watching Son half arse through games. And Kulu has lost form.

id even push porro up further if Deki is still struggling for form

Scenes when we win 7-0 on Sunday with a change in formation and Stellini is announced on a 5 year permanent.

We have no left sided centre back either

I know it will be the same 352 formation but I would love to see us setup like this

Lloris
Porro Romero Dier Perisic
PEH Sarr Skipp
Kane
Danjuma - Son

Have PEH and Skipp be the B2B CM's and Sarr sit back and as the anchor. Kane to roam like he already does and Danjuma and Son to make runs behind the defenders.

Lloris ahead of Forster?
