Of course not. You hire a new set of staff.

We are spinning our wheels right now. Pointlessly.

Why not have someone come in now. Have time to evaluate. Perhaps even squeeze some life from these lifeless players. But sticking with this staff is akin to surrendering the rest of the season. Especially when you look at the players. So many of them seem disinterested.
New guy wouldn’t want to start now- who would?

I will start that this is not Sanchez bashing but a dig at the manager. Does he not watch games back? Whenever Samchez comes on he looks low in confidence and misplaces early pass or trips over himself. That ripples through the team and makes everyone nervous. I understand the theory of playing someone till their confidence comes back but its never worked with Sanches and not when top four is still achievable. The coaches seem more concerned with showing loyalty than winning games. Same with Lori's. He didn't deserve to come straight back in.

1. I don’t think Sanchez is good enough to play for us and should have been sold long ago.

2. I don’t like fans who boo our players, it doesn’t help anything.

3. I don’t like that the board have allowed below par players to stay at the club, keeping players because we can’t get out asking price is a toxic situation for the future.

4. I don’t agree with fans who want a manager appointed RIGHT NOW. If better options are available in the summer, it’s rational to wait. Even if that means having to endure this shot show for now, if it avoids a shit show in another year, then so be it.

5. I think too many of our players are spineless. Or spine-intolerant, at least. When we scored the first, all of a sudden we started to get greedy, and casual. There wasn’t the same team hunger for another goal, son, and Kane both started taking shots thinking it was gonna be a rout, instead of going through the process of build up. Our defending is fragile too, it seems like every mistake we make is taken advantage off, but so much of the errors are self-inflicted because we lack ability and composure.

6. Pedro Porro needs time to settle, but jeeeeez, when he loses the ball so often it’s hard to be patient.

It’s only a few months ago and a lot of fans were quoting how many clean sheets we’d kept with Sanchez in the team. Was it 7 in a row or something? It was a freak stat but I hope none of those fans are booing him now.

He came on against Leeds and made a difference and contributed to us winning.

Anyone booing him should be utterly ashamed of themselves. I didn’t think it was possible but in a loss to Bournemouth at home, the players or management weren’t the most embarrassing thing about our club today.

But apart from that… and owners… Great Stadium!

What is so great about the stadium?

It's a fucking brilliant stadium mate.

Lol - have we got people wishing it was 2003 again?

Spurs have a million and 1 problems but the stadium ain't one of them :ROFLMAO:

71 pages is low for a thread when we've lost, especially at home.

Telling about the state of the club and people not really being bothered about it right now.

I'll be honest, Sanchez came on and his first action was to miscontrol the ball before landing Porro in it. I stood up, waited for the sequence to finish with the ball in our net and turned the TV off. Went and cut the grass and tidied the garden. Checked in at full time and laughed.

And that was that. Im really not fussed by Spurs any more. I want to be, but I can't. Cheers Levy. You wanker.

He didn't "land Porro in it" - Porro did all of that himself. I was watching it play out right below me and it was the usual series of underhit passes that eventually landed with Porro who had every chance to get rid but didn't and lost it - like he did countless times during the match.

The problem with Sanchez coming on was that, for whatever reason, 3 Cb's has failed this season and it's utterly baffling why we persist with it. It does't help us defend and it doesn't help us attack.

What makes a brilliant Stadium?

I don’t walk out of there feeling like I’ve had a good time. I’m paying through the nose for this experience. What makes it so special?

I don't think subbing him after bringing him on and humiliating him showed much loyalty fella.

This-100%. If anything, the ‘tourists’ contribute to the atmosphere because singing/chanting is part of the ‘experience’ for them.

People complain about tourists, but part of the reason there are so many at games, is the fact that a high number of ‘fans’ list their tickets because they’re only interested in attending if things are going well.

Plastic, fair-weather ****s.
Don’t agree with the first part as the tourists don’t sing because half of them don’t really support spurs.

But the second part is spot on. Don’t sell your fucking ticket, either support the team, or leave it empty and maybe change something. Season ticket holders selling their tickets is a massive part of the fucking problem.

Depends what you want from a stadium.

Atmosphere at White Hart Lane was better because the stadium was filled with fans that cared what happened on the pitch. It was our “Home”. When I say that I mean the team, but also the fans.

The new stadium is a great piece of architecture, it’s a lovely swanky glitzy headline grabber. It does great light shows, it has gadgets and gizmos galore….but “home”, it is not…..yet. Not sure it will ever be. I hope so. I hope we fill it with memories in years to come. But right now, it’s not. At all.

Not going to be a hypocrite but this season I put three fixtures up and the cash back was a slight softening to the blow of the crap that’s been dished up this season. I travel quite far for each home game and will never give up the bug that is supporting Spurs.

If anything I find the tourists amusing: it can go from Russian man with his mistress one week to a genuine Spurs family with a dad and his kid the next.

Yup, today, around me all in season ticket seats that had been sold;
-instagramming mother and daughter spent more time filming than watching
-3 Germans. Spent the whole time comparing with bundesliga
-American couple who just kept talking about anything but football
-English couple - he clearly regretted bringing her.
-Italian couple - guy kept asking my dad questions about players much to his annoyance and my amusement.

That’s just the ones I noticed directly in front and behind me. It’s great people get to experience premier league football….but it really does fuck the atmosphere.

This is supposed to be professional sport. Forget sentiment and worrying about a player’s feelings.

I don't think you understood my post
I was merely correcting the poster who said Sanchez was playing because stelini is too loyal to him
Which is quite laughable after today.
