Passive is how we play. I am fed up with it to be honest. We won but a typically poor watch.

It was worse than normal. They weren’t a good side and it’s a home champions league group game. Come out like you want to win ffs.

Think we need a Cat D price list on ticket prices for Champions League group games, Spurs shots on target 2 , Marseille shots on target 1 , hardly value for money on entertainment value . Attendance 57 367 was it worth it ?

Still can’t get my head around the 2 defensive subs when we desperately required a goal. Coupled with the fact that we actually scored twice after they came on…. Neo and Matrix certainly comes to mind!
Could be one of two things; a stroke of genius. Confuse the opposition into thinking we will take the draw. Or, complete and utter fluke that it worked out.

My heart says the former, brain the latter.

Sincerely one of the strangest sub decisions I’ve ever seen.

Tonights crap...Harry cant take free kicks-Son cant take corners- Romero has lost the desire to get stuck in-Lloris cant catch a ball. Apart from that a very good win. On and up and all that.
Not sticking up for Romero's lazy tackles last couple games but something doesn't seem right, very unlike him making tame tackles wonder is he still carrying a slight injury or worried about getting injured again so soon. He does need to improve on last couple of games.

yeah, but you would think that Sess or Gil would have been more appropriate and ok in the situation of the match
Good to ease Doherty back in considering he’s not played much since returning from injury.

Thought we defended well, never looked like conceding aside from the end when Davies blocked with his face. It was just incredibly poor ball retention. So many misplaced passes, I have no idea how so many could be off it. Also a lot of flick ons that just didn't come off. Richarlison adds a new dimension with his headers though.

Still early in the season but we really need to get going. At least we're in a good habit of getting the results.

The performance wasn't great to say the least, but we won. Seem to be making a habit of that, which is no bad thing.

I'm pretty sure as well that as soon as Kane and Son click, get some form, that we'll look far more fluid going forward.

It's the permanent contract effect... We saw it with Lo Celso pre permanent signing ?.
