I suppose the bright side is that has Winks, Sanchez, Davies and co done well for the rest of the season then the viewpoint may have been that some of them will be okay as step ins and squad players.
These performances just lay everything bare and should ensure that not only do we sign upgrades in key positions, we also look to replace these from the bench.
