We definitely need to go 3-5-2 and i think Conte will.

It will give us more chance with coping with Kante and Kokavic...otherwise they'll totally over run us and dominate...and we won't keep them out.

Doherty and Bergwign absolutely have to start.

Lucas has been consistently very good under Conte but a little rest here, giving Berg the start he deserves and I believe what's best for the team.

Lucas be a great option from the bench for this one.

This is what good management is all about imo...getting right these situations.

We need to have Bergwijn and Lucas upfront with Kane.

Chelsea will come at us and I reckon we can hit them on the break with our pace.

Much more important to have 3 in midfield and not let Jorginho have his fun.

As we know Chelsea will keep the ball which isn't too problematic if we don't have errors at the back. Against LC we created problems of our making and got away with it.

For me same 11 that started against LC and that incl Royal. The only change I would make is if Dier is fit to start I would replace Davis.
Conte will get a reaction form Royal and he could have a good game-Im happy to see Doherty come in if so required. We have players that can't do it every match so hopefully Conte can time/juggle it right with certain players like Royal. What a game Chelsea is now, our spirits have been lifted but Chelsea will want to put us in our place.

3-5-2 surely. Conte can't play 3-4-3 against Chelsea again. Got destroyed in midfield last time by the genious Tuchel.
Stevie B needs to start and wouldn't be surprised to see Doherty start as well.

I think the 3-5-2 really helped us with our build up play tonight. Would be key for building confidence at SB. Chelsea are uncomfortable under Tuchel when they can't dominate play.

There was a nice tweak from Conte tonight where Winks/Skipp dropped into RCB at times in possession, with Tanganga almost going into the RB slot. Really helped our ball progression. Also explains why Conte would like someone like Adama for RWB, they get most of their touches in the opposition half.

Brave call for Conte to make with Moura being such a reliable player for him, I think it could be the one though.
go 352 with moura in the middle man marking jorginho out of possesion and bursting off him with his pace when we have the ball. Its what we did to him with dele when son scored his wondergoal at wembley agaisnt them. one of PEH or Skipp miss out I think winks set pieces woud be missed and also he moves the ball quicker than the other two despite not being as solid defensively.

I hope we carry on with the 352 and I'd like to see Doherty snd berjwign get well earned starts.

Can't believe I want Doherty to start. We really do have an amazing manager.

Would you seriously play Dier instead of Davies and keep Tanganga in the side?

I like the sound of that, more of a 3-4-1-2. Only issue is he can't really drop in as an 8 if needed as well as a Dele or even Lo Celso. Interesting call for Conte. Bergwijn certainly looks better suited to play with Kane in a strike pairing than Lucas is.

I don't like Davis and Reguilon in the same side- it feels we have two players doing a one player job. If we play five at the back with two WB then Tanganga/Dier/Sanchez for me-gives us height as well.

Bergwijn must start. May have to sacrifice lucas for this though

Why not play both. Kane dropping into am works and he does it anyway. His best games are we he drops now so why not embrace it? Kane for Winks.

Understand the thinking re Lucas, and would be interesting to see if that's a position he could play, but I don't think Chelsea away is the match in which to find out.

Could get overrun in midfield. They will have kante jorginho kovacic

Not really. Kane is solid and that's similar to what we used at the start of the season again city when we had son, lucas and stevie iirc. If anything its more solid.

I fancied us to get something against them before last nights result anyway, as Conte has had a couple of close looks at them now.

Factor in the lift that last night will undoubtedly give us, i really fancy us to get something from the game.

It's a huge fixture for us. I think we will see the same team except for Royal replaced with Doherty who has earned it IMO. Stevie B from the bench again.
