Was always going to happen at some point.

Seems a few 1st team players unfortunately.

Hopefully they all recover okay.

Small update....

Now been given a few additional names so more than I was initially led to believe.

I'm afraid I'm not going to share names publicly for obvious reasons.
If they find out that the cases are Omicron - games are definitely off as they will want the rest to do further tests before playing....

Are you able to confirm if total number is 6 players plus 2 staff? Or now more?

Probably alone on this but we should play the kids in Europe, rest up the players, imo we’ll do well to match vitesse result if we have a lot of first team players out as Rennes are flying and a very good team and I expect vitesse to put 4/5 past Mura.

I get we may need the money, just don’t think we’ll win it and it gives conte more time on training field

Conte said Gio would be training after Norwich right? Looks like him behind Kane and Bergwijn could be the answer against Brighton.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Bergwijn is out for a few weeks. He took a heavy knock to his ankle towards the end of the Norwich game and was badly limping.

If he rolled it he will definitely be out for at least a week or two. Hopefully it was just an impact knock.

It's how he lined up a decent amount of the time for Betis based off transfermarkt

What I was thinking too. I guess it's whether he can be deemed fit enough for Conte but if he did train straight after Norwich he'd have over a week, plus maybe minutes on Thursday to gain some fitness for Sunday so hopefully he'd be deemed ok to potentially start. Otherwise it could be Winks who we'd be seeing....
