Thought Jamie redknapp comment on super Sunday was a bit odd talking about top 4 “ Spurs struggling right now, but it could be changing soon “

Knows Conte on his way ?

I may be wrong but I reckon N’Dombele, Dele, Dier and Winks would want to move on if sidelined again under another manager - they’ve certainly made those rumblings previously.

Bergwijn I still reckon there’s a potential player there with the right coach and some confidence instilled.

Doherty and Davies both on wages that aren’t huge (by footballer’s standards) but we may have to compromise on the fee.

Personally with the right manager, if any unwanted players are made aware in no uncertain terms that they have no future, then for their own career/playing time I’m sure they could be persuaded to move on.
I think if you look at the quality of the sides likely interested in those players and their wage bills most are out of their reach.

Winks might be the easiest one to sell.

Arsenal have released 7 high earning players this year on free transfers because they couldn't sell. We let Rose go at the end of his contract rather than sell and paid off Aurier. If our deadwood was easy to sell, we would. It's their salaries that are making it difficult.

The sad thing is that subbing Moura (Yes Moura!) led to the chants of "you don't know what you're doing"...

Hell i wouldn't have Moura anywhere near this team!

His play reminds me of a party game where you blindfold someone, spin them around then take off the blindfold and tell them to chase you... *

*this party game may not exist...

At this point now if he doesn't get sacked imminently, then its just going to heat things up further. Because now you're getting the fans hopes up of him going.

If he goes before the international break, he'll become the shortest-serving ever manager of Tottenham Hotspur, beating Jacques Santini. Two absolutely inspired Don Levy appointments...

Do you want to know another similarity? Both were employed after we spent months and months searching for a manager (having sacked Hoddle & Mourinho mid-season). Both weren't first choice, or second choice, or...you get the picture (in fact we spent all of the 03/04 season and summer talking to Trappatoni only for it to break down late on). Both were puzzling appointments. Both came in during periods of rebuild. Both were utterly boring. Santini left by mutual consent for reasons that were never fully explained and as luck would have it a certain Martin Jol was waiting in the wings. Jol being then DOF Frank Arnesen's choice as new manager (overruled by Levy).

History repeats itself first as tragedy, second as farce.

So it’s Nuno out and Harry in as caretaker, then.

I’m surprised his dad hasn’t been on the phone to Sky Sports to announce it himself yet if true.
