I do believe it’s time to fire Nuno, but we might need to wait for a replacement. Unless we can secure a free agent like Conte (and then back him in the January market), the cost of getting a successful coach to walk mid season could be too high.

If Nuno goes now, we’re likely to see Ledders and Mason at the wheel for the foreseeable.

That said, I would love Conte in. Back him properly and have him terrorise our lazy bastard players into playing up or f**king off. Enough of this losing bullshit.

Adebayor, Kaboul, Lennon, Townsend, Assou-Ekotto, Bentaleb to name a few.
The difference is Adebayor was released from his contract, not sold. The others in your list were on much lower wages.

I don't believe for a second that Adebayor would have left us and his ridiculous salary just because he wasn't playing.

The players we might want rid of now and other reported weekly salaries:

Ndombele £200k
Alli £100k
Bergwijn £73k
Dier £72k
Doherty £65k
Davies £60k
Winks £50k

You might think these are players who care passionately about their careers and will leave just to play regularly. Unless we can find buyers to pay their salaries, they won't leave.
