Yes, I do realise playing in midfield is more than passing. And your incredulous reaction highlights the very point I'm making: that we haven't seen Ndombele do much more than some nice passes and a few fancy turns yet.

Until Ndombele does the gritty stuff (which I think he will eventually), Kane has been more effective in those areas. His passing has been better. That is exactly my point.

you’re labouring a bit here. Tanguy produced a good all round performance again yesterday including work rate and defensive duty, gritty stuff, and kept it simple with pass and move.

on the back of other good performances in the past few weeks.

I don’t see what purpose comparing him with Kane serves.

What a strange thing to say, I’m 57. There’s no doubt he has ability but he’s nowhere near top class. Yet
He is one of the best midfielders in the world. He has dribbling, good passing, shooting, defense, a lot of physique. The new Pogba

Tiring is't it? We are literally playing the most attacking football in the league.

Some on here would want Mourinho out if we score 150 goals and won the treble.
More offensive soccer? Ok, imagine if you start the game with Hojberg, Ndomble and Lo Celso, Lamela, Dele .... Not with Sissoko, Winks.

One of the best in the world? Ffs mate get a grip

He isnt one of the best but has the potential to be. Its taking him time but he is getting there but needs to be consistent and effective in the game. He has certainly played very well this season but we all know he can do more.

Jose is clearly a full convert to Ndombele. I think he'll play him alongside Lo Celso when they're both fit, although I expect he'll keep Ndombele in the more attacking role and play Lo Celso deeper.

Were you ever a £60m player?

Not sure why but I am suddenly invested.

Lo Celso is injured so how do you know he’d not have played ahead of Sissoko had he been fit (which he’s not been all season effectively). Winks didn’t start.

Lo Celso and Ndombele are among the best midfielders in the world. 24 and 23 years old, someone names me players of the same style and age?

So who's in the top5 for central midfielder in the world for 20/21 season?
Not sure but if we use de Bruyne as the benchmark does anybody seriously compare Ndombele to him? This is a player with 6 caps and 4 goals in top flight football. I’ll judge somebody on what they’ve achieved rather than what they may achieve

I never thought he is that strong. Almost Dembele level strong. The way he uses his body to cover the ball makes it impossible to take it away from him.
