There's a lot more to it than that. My memory on this is a bit vague and @Rob knows more about the ins and out of it, but IIRC google ads had something to do with it, I might be wrong though. But putting that aside the other reason was that when we first decided to ban the word people were getting VERY creative with the self censoring and it got so ridiculous that in the end we brought in the automatic censor and arrived at the rule as it is today. Like I said, we did initially allow people the leeway to self censor but. as often happens, the piss got ripped out of it.I really don't understand why tbh. You're allowed to write teh word and let the system censor it but not allowed to self censor it in the first place?
Does not compute ... nobody need answer, rules are rules, it's noted ... and I'm getting used to them making no sense tbh (generally, not here specifically)
