Another one that got away. I was hoping we got him in homegrown reasonably priced don't see where the risk is.

Part of me is surprised so few PL clubs seems to be in for him given his HG position and apparent talent. I have not seen him play but it makes you think some see him as a luxury player given the rave reviews he gets

I suppose if he wants to stay in London, play for an established PL club and have the opportunity to play every week, it narrows it down to Palace and West Ham.

If he's good enough, he'll be able to jump ship for one of the bigger clubs in the future....if he doesn't sign a large contract extension that is

Anyway, shame we didn't get him in the end. There have been some great Championship talents over the last few seasons, but the ones that we've signed haven't worked out for us yet.

Eze has made a good move. Jose has Moura and Son (working their socks-off defensively!) on our flanks with Bergwijn, Lamela and Sessegnon waiting in the wings, and if Eze had come to us he'd not have got anywhere near the pitch.

£14 mil? That's a steal. CP hopefully will be a stepping stone for Eze. Massive talent

It's rising to £19.5m, so essentially similar to the deal we would have done.
