Do wonder why Skipp hasn't played at all under Jose. I would like to see him get a go. Winks, as much as I like his character, just doesn't have a place or role in Tottenham.

No, they paid money to watch their team play. The quality of that team has been disappointing; they’ve expressed that disappointment here, on a message board where others agree with them.

I’m not sure what your point is, but I’m curious to understand what they’ve said to earn such derision and scorn from you
Stop paying the money and go do something else then, or as some clearly do on a weekly basis, sell your ticket, get that cash, do something with that cash that isn't Spurs. Same with going to the game. Why bother if you are so dissatisfied you have to then trot out the same shit week in week out. It's the same. It's the same every time. They won't miss you, and you won't miss them.

Or

Get behind them even if you are dissatisfied because isn't that what support is (it is, right?) and accept that it is what it is for now, you paid your cash and you're behind them even if it is [enter descriptive words here]

Anything else?

I can’t argue with that. But he is setting them up to fail with his tactics / formations.

I partly agree with you, but if the guys at work were making ridiculous mistakes then I’d also go back to basics. They seem to be making errors regardless of tactics - under both Poch and Mourinho

I don’t blame Levy for this, or Poch or Mourinho (although all three have made mistakes); I think it’s mainly the fault of the players

According to transfermarkt Skipp has played a grand total of 519 minutes of senior football in his career. If a teenager with less than six matches' worth of minutes under his belt is the only option you have available to solve the biggest tactical problem facing the team, then that's a problem with the squad and not with the manager.

I have a lot of faith in Skipp and think that Mourinho is stupid not to play him. He played Tanganga etc and that worked out well.I actually think Skipp will grow more than Winks as he has a good eye for the game and Winks too conservative

I doubt you will find anyone on here that wanted us to lose.

Use your fucking eyes we are shit and getting worse every week. Playing a submissive shithouse style of football to boot.

Except we weren't worse this week we were alot better than we have been recently. and we didn't play submissive football.

Other than that spot on.

Didn't think we played too badly and quite a few in here are being harsh. We could have gone 3-1 up with Dele's header, yet Wolves quickly equalised after that. The rest is history.

We just can't defend. Don't understand how we let Jota run at us for the third goal... have to give away the professional foul.
Aurier did try to take him out to be fair.

I like Skipp too and I'd like to see him given a chance, but I can't agree that there isn't a fundamental problem with the squad when we're sitting here speculating as to whether an untested academy teenager is the solution to our biggest weakness.

Have seen enough on Winks, several times we lost the ball at midfield he just jogged back. Also, everytime when he got the ball he took at least 3 Sec to make a sideway pass.
Not sure the captaincy really inspired him. He was his usual limited self - keeping it simple (but not early or pacy - see Ndombele) most of the time. Once or twice when he did try to play forward he was woeful although others on here seem to to think he does have it in his locker and can play forward. Thought the lack of initiative and a footballing brain in him and many others was summed up by Winks having no ideas on about the 70th minute and passing it one yard to Lo Celso - perhaps because Winks and others know Lo Celso is the only one who knows what to do with it. Can Lo Celso really be the only quality, in-form player we currently have available?

oh yes Red Bull,
another team waiting to kick our ass

Every side from now until the end of the season will fully expect to get something from a game against us. It won’t be a case of them hoping, they’ll really fancy doing it. A lot will achieve it too. Just need to try and not lose too much faith in the badge and support 100% during games

Anything else? Yes, because someone needs to point out to youthe obvious fact that it’s perfectly possible to support the team, sing for them at the games, and post on spurscommunity about the high prices. Unless you think the players are trawling the message boards and going “oh no, someone thinks the ticket prices are too high :’( why are the fans so negative?”

Not sure why you think that supporting thw team and registering dissatsifaction with ticket prices on a spurs forum are mutually exclusive

I fully support the team during a game, always.
I think the prices for my ticket are a piss take.

But,

I like the Olive Branch for a few and I love the jerk shop next door. Right now, they are easily the highlight of my season and almost worth the trip!

I won’t be spending another penny in the stadium again, which is hard because the sausage rolls are actually lovely

Just trying to find little rays of light. Not fundamental solutions

In a match day thread? Do you go to games and then post on Spurs Community to complain while you're at the game, live? How about telling everyone every game when ever you get the chance that you sell your ticket on a weekly basis?

Yeah, sure, that'll tell 'em.

I don't think I've ever seen Harry Winks have a good game. I mean seriously, what does he do? He offers nothing defensively. He doesn't score many goals or create many chances so what exactly does he bring to the party?

The new Jake Livermore / Jamie O'Hara. Just not good enough.

We really shouldn't back off. Really shouldn't. I'm so pissed at the lads. The first 20 minutes we were comfortable. And I was quite confident we could win comfortably. But the movement they got their goal, we went back hiding. Ffs seriously. Why so passive. We are chasing points and this was a six pointer game.

They need to grow some balls. Some of those lads out there are gone. Their mentalities are shot. Is no longer an issue of abilities, but their frame of mind. We were then back to being pegged and going backwards. What a shame. GLC wanted to go against the norm, Bergwjin wanted to do against the norm. But Winks and Lucas dragged them deeper into the safe route and we just couldn't advance.

The core group of players we seen under Poch era should be rinsed totally. Or they should be zapped like in MIB. The effect from last season calamity to this season etched into them so firmly their confidence were drained the moment they conceded.

Exactly. We had that game and the players let them back into it. Nobody else is to blame but them.

A tad unfair but there is no doubt he is a good squad player at best.

It is so obvious that so many are making comments in here, that didn't even watch the game today at all, and have just found out the result and are coming up with their already tired pre-written arguments, some of which make no sense if they had actually seen the game.

There are what my dad calls blue eyed boys. People somehow give them messiah status and cant see anything mediocre about them. Winks is such.
