Crazy 1st half.

Positive - we’re winning
Negative - Gazzaniga and the defence have been shambolic

not sure what your watching but he really hasn’t been that bad today
Dier has not been without fault but looks a fuckton better than he has when playing in midfield this season. Put in a few very nice challenges which were reminiscent of the Dier of old.

It’s been really pleasing to see us back playing some football. Lo Celso and Winks have got on the ball plenty and Moura/Stevie have looked dangerous.

Top class strike from Aurier.

He has grown to be quite immense under Mourinho TBF.

Definitely has, this half has arguably been his worst in a long time he is usually pretty good, but I enjoy the unpredictable nature of his game.

Hopefully we can tighten the ship at half time, and get a third on the board as soon as possible.

If Sanchez can tighten up this half I think we will win. He has been the weak link for me along with Aurier defensively, just having an off day.

Much better half from us overall to be fair. Far from perfect but look at the lineup.... I'll take an improvement

Sanchez has looked a bit shaky today but Dier seems to be having a good game .

There isa lot to be happy with. First 20 minutes and last 10 minutes of the first half we were very good. Moura and Lo Celso the stand outs for me. We just cause so many problems for ourselves through bad defending. Having Sanchez and Tanganga either side of Dier gives us a pacy back three and allows us to defend higher up the pitch which is so nice to see after a run of games where Jose showed no ambition and we defender far too deep. Why did we not set up like this last weekend?

I haven't read all your comments yet as I like to come in and not read the room giving my 2 cents but I felt that we actually played the best football we have played in weeks today. Not great free-flowing football but certainly a step in the right direction, good passing, there was a lack of end product on a lot of it but I think it's a lot better than last couple of months. Quality goal from Aurier who I didn't think was having a great game before that.
