As I predicted before the game, for all the abuse directed at Eriksen he is still moving the ball a lot better than Dier or Sissoko would. Yeah, he hasn't been great, and yeah I don't want him in the team because of his situation. But remove the contract situation from the equation and it's a no brainer for him to play midfield over those two trundling about.

We’ve done what I wanted to see: played with conviction and energy and organisation. But still we win the ball and then give it right back after a pass or two. And all our counter attacks have ended with off target shots or sloppy passes.

Tanganga has done well.

Spot on. We’ve set up to contain them and we’ve created a dam sight more on the counter than we did against both Man U and Chelsea combined. Aurier has done well going forward but Rose has been awful.

Only chance we got is if aoc and Gomez gets a second yellow early in the 2nd half

3 years ago we were far better than Liverpool. We wouldn’t have had to rebuild if we had steadily upgraded the squad

If you think our rebuild will be anything along the lines of Liverpool as long as Enic are around I have bad news for you
True but also perhaps people can see what Poch was getting out of the same players before they all threw out their toys and Poch wasn't backed to ship them off

How many fouls from behind are they going to get away with.

We’ve done ok, shame we conceded.
I’ve realised we have 5 of Jose’s prefered best XI out!
lloris
Davies
Ndombele
Sissoko
Kane

if we had all of them fit and a few new signings I think Jose can do things with this team next season.

let’s hope we nick one 2nd half.

COYS.

Mate. Even with Kane, Ndombele and Lloris in the eleven the game would not look a whole lot different. This is just Mourinho. Always have been and always will be.

Of course we would look different. We’re missing 3 of our best players and a currently lining up with a hairdresser in goal, Eriksen who’s not a central midfielder in said position and no recognised striker.
