Yet he wants £20m for a championship level defender in KWP.

Wan Bissaka was no further rated a season prior to then getting £50m for him, and he's only 6 months younger.

In fact, he's currently got 3 England U21 caps vs KWP's 9, 2 U20 caps vs KWP's 10, No U19 caps vs KWP's 9, and No U18 caps vs KWP's 6.

So Palace would be getting a 22 year old who has been in pretty much every international level for his age, having just asked a lot, lot more for a guy who wasn't getting in the squad ahead of him.

People could say "yes but AWB is much better", but we don't know what KWP would look like after a season of first team football for palace. He's had MoTM for a decent number of PL games, so obviously isn't that unlikely to be AWB money if he does well.

Top 4 couldn’t be any further away if we continue with our current small club mentality when buying players and our grossly overpriced expectations for selling players.
Levy wont change his antics for anything. We could have everyone in our squad leaving on frees, be left with no one in the summer and levy would fuck about.

Are you really surprised that good chairman wants to sell for as high as possible and buy for as low as possible?

We’re a club in crisis and failing to sell shit to make way for the multiple players we need to make a push for top 4 is a disaster in the making. Fair enough if someone wants a first teamer or a valued squad player then you look to get the best price possible. Whereas when it comes to buying players unless we’re prepared to pay the going rate, especially in January then the selling club is under no pressure to sell.

You can’t run a business/football club of hypotheticals. Last season AWB was outstanding and went for a reasonable fee. Whereas KWP has been poor, he’s way too weak and indecisive. He’s not a kid anymore. He hasn’t shown anything to justify a £20m price tag.

Last winter Liverpool sold Solanke for more than 20m and he had similar amount of minutes. I wouldn't say he is better than KWP, so expecting 20m for Kyle is fair. And looks like not only CP are interested...

Completely agree the price is vastly different for reasons. One player is PL proven while the other has shown a couple glimpses of potential accompanied by the same amount of bad performances.

Simple then, we just need to find a club daft enough to be our Bournemouth. The amount of money they've paid for young Liverpool flops is absurd.

Only 28 question marks, Ron?

I think you let him off lightly. It deserved at least 31.

I’m not too upset about missing out on a striker who is being let go by a club struggling for goals mid season. I hope however the fact we seem unlikely to sign him is because another option has appeared.

It's the hope that kills you.
Its Enic and levy, so IF we buy anyone this window it will be announced 31 jan.

Just hope its JM who decide who he wants so it's not levy that just buy some random player

Just so I’m up to date...we were complaining that KP would be a poor signing but now it’s apparently off we are moaning about not signing him?!

That's generally how we roll around here. Once it's confirmed he's signed for someone else it's "He's shit anyway".
