Watching that game last night has just reinforced my belief that the referees are corrupt. Arsenal should have had 2 players sent off in that game, Xhaka and Lacazette, possibly 3 with that twat Sokratis doing his best Jane Torville Bolero impression.
Xhaka was kicking Leeds players all game, yet gets kicked once and the Leeds player is booked? Sorry, but for me that's not ineptitude, it's corruption. Anthony Taylor making sure the goons had every advantage.
And Lacazette? They spent 2 minutes going over and over the Son kick out to make sure they gave him a red card, Lacazette kicked out and they give it a cursory glance and take no action at all? Even Ray Parlour on Talksport said he was "lucky," which translated into non-goon bias means he should have got a straight red.
No one wants to say it, no one wants to admit that it could be part of the English game and so many are so quick to shout it down as paranoia, but the evidence has been there for years, English referees are corrupt because both the FA and the Premier league are corrupt. They absolutely MUST have their "elite" teams representing them because their global followings produce viewing figures globally, which generates more money. It is more and more evident that referees have been briefed to ensure this, and last night just underlined this.
