Bringing someone in of Jose's calibre, experience and success is a great great start BUT with Levy he will be judged on how he backs the manager... He brings in Jose but doesnt back him? then we may as well have not got him in.
I dont expect much in January - maybe a right back but i dont know. I do certainly expect some ins and outs in the summer but that would depend on whether we finish with CL for next season
One thing is for sure - eyes will be on us globally for the rest of this season...
I feel like there will of been some pretty similar statements made by man united fans when he joined.... Ask them now whether they'd prefer the sentimental choice, Ole. Or the "serial winner", Jose now.
I'm not saying there's some potential truth in the sentiment of these kind of statements. But we, as football fans, like to believe there's magic people out there who can do magic things. People that just have "it". And that nice people don't win things and nasty people do.
All seems a bit naive and simplistic to me at least.
Tell you what I will give him a bit of credit for, I'm fairly sure more than a few managers might have looked at the first fixture being a tricky prospect, away to West Ham in their cup final, and strung out the formalities another 24 hours or so, been announced on a Thursday, not met the players till Friday, and decided to sit out this match and watch it from the stands and avoid the potentially embarrassing start. Fair play to him getting straight in, on the training pitch, and ready to front up and get to work.
Home league game I was meaning
The managers can’t complain about going into big games unprepared now. If he’s still like this
Not if you live outside the UK ?Am I right in thinking we have to wait until December 22nd against Chelsea for our first televised home league game under Jose?
Interesting in that 7 minute training clip on the spurs app. He definitely spoke and hugged Dele. If he can just get him back to what he was...
When he’s had a world class striker Drogba Costa he’s absolutely bossed this league. Never had that at United.
Unavoidable, really. There's always a good deal of rubber-necking as people slow down and pass a car-crash.Bringing someone in of Jose's calibre, experience and success is a great great start BUT with Levy he will be judged on how he backs the manager... Key words here being 'probably' and 'if', and all it refers to are 'rumours'. If I could be bothered I could dream up 250 rumours for you in, 10 minutes, say. You could knock up a hundred more yourself, as could anybody, in mere minutes. Rumours are like leaves in a London park in autumn — thick on the ground or just blowing by.He's probably feeling a little sheepish, if the rumours about him wanting Poch out are true.
Yep but the rumours that some of the senior players were unhappy with Poch have come from some pretty reliable sources.Key words here being 'probably' and 'if', and all it refers to are 'rumours'.
