I'd love to know what the hell he thinks he's building.

In order to build you need to set some sort of foundations.

We're totally devoid of anything that resembles a strong spine.

It's become laughable.
He is building a championship winning side

About 2 months ago I was having an argument with some spurs supporting friends and I said Rodgers is a better manager than Poch. They laughed at me. They're not laughing now.

The recruitment is poor and short sighted how do we turn down Tielemans and Maddison rumour has it Poch decided to pass on both players who were extremely affordable. I compare Poch to Pep who really has no favoritism you dont produce you come off. That's not the case under Poch
Yes passed on Tielemans and Maddison supposedly, but what if it was at the expense of getting Ndombele Lo Celso and Sess?

Hold on a minute. Rodgers had one excellent season at Liverpool and still they blew the title when they really should have won it. The following season Rodgers was EXACTLY like how Poch is now, lethargic performance after performance and he looked like he was lost.

I would have more faith if Poch did have a top manager pedigree, and by that I mean a CV that shows he's a winner. I'd then feel it was worth the wait for him to try and turn it around.

I've said a million times we were not over achieving by getting top 4 football. We've had a fucking quality side in his time with us.

Now he's looking like the guy who was ordinary at Español and did a decent job at Southampton. When it's got tough, where is he and what has he done? I'll tell you what....fuck all.

Over 12 months of awful football, persisted with a diamond because he's too stubborn to change it, fucking shit substitutions EVERY single game at the same predictable time, stupid moody press conferences. And now, because he knows HE is not performing, he is trying to con us all into thinking it's because he's rebuilding. Then factor into that we are still without any silverware or honours despite him having the best side we've had in my lifetime in his tenure (other than the prestigious Audi fucking cup).

Thanks Poch, you've given top 4 football to a side who should've been getting top 4.

Now bring me some fucker who's a winner and knows what it takes to get a team where it needs to be and get them over the line in competitions. Paying the ridiculous prices our fans do we deserve more than the 11 months we've had.

Sorry for the rant but I'm totally fucked off with him

cant really argue with any of that

Yet he went to Celtic, a step down and won numerous titles, earning him another shot in the EPL with Leicester and so far he’s worked wonders. He’s evolved as a manager and is reaping the rewards. Poch on the other hand is regressing at a rate of knots.

Young managers, like players, are capable of learning from their mistakes and improving their skills.

you need to forget about the results from January to May, because if you can't you really need to consider a different sport or a winning team because they can have 25 man squad that won't feel the effects of playing 2 seasons without any real rest, and be able to cope with the injuries we had.
sorry mate, I really like you as a poster but what on Earth are you talking about?

Agreed, but this is the problem when things are going badly, the grass always looks greener. I remember having conversations when Robbie Keane was struggling when he came back from Liverpool and people were telling me we should have signed John Carew as a replacement.

Just got back from the game, the atmosphere has definitely turned in the stadium. First half saw Gazzanigga have a ding dong with fans behind the goal, then early second half there was booing from the south east corner. It kicked off up there with a number of people turfed out. It’s starting to turn nasty and there is only one way this will end. He has to go now.

Today proved to me that the time is up, picked the side that everyone wanted and to be honest the performance was worse than usual.

It’s a quandary, I genuinely think our squad is poor, our defence is bottom half, two spent forces in Jan and Toby if we’re being honest, and Sanchez isn’t a leader. No defensive midfielder worth a wank, and a forward line that blows completely hot and cold. Overrated players like Moura, Dele and Winks and when you add it all together you wonder if we’d even experience a dead cat bounce like Utd did under Ole.

Maybe our dear **** of a leader is holding off as he knows the next guy in is getting an absolute hospital pass with this squad.

Whatever it is it’s all shit and this season is a write off regardless.

Lost all credibility in saying Moura is overated...he cant get in the team...

While we're on the topic of Poch's abysmal scouting track record, the fact that we have not so much as shown a feigning interest in bringing in a DM following the decline of Wanyama and Dier is sackable unto itself. There have been legions of posters here on SC calling out for a new DM for years now and yet absolutely no indication whatsoever that the club even saw it as a problem to be addressed. Our recruitment has been absolutely tragic, and if that stems from Poch's stubbornness then he needs to be held to account.

True but I'd say that Celtic is one of the easiest places to win trophies at.

Let's see if Rodgers can maintain this level first. Second half of the season is the true barometer.

Regarding Poch, yeah he probably could do with going away and winning titles.
