It’s how other teams are playing that hurts. We look bad. He chose the team we wanted. We looked bad. It’s not the players. Love you Poch but it’s time.

Arguments can be made about the quality of the squad and who is responsible for that, but ultimately it's a squad of players who should not be in 12th (and likely lower come Monday).

It's been a long period of poor performances and results. He's not been getting the best out of the players for a long time now and it's arguably getting worse.

Only one option now for me unfortunately.

This is it.

We can listen to all the excuses in the world, and even though some are genuinely mitigating you can't ignore the under achievement overall for this long.

And there's fuck all sign of improvement. Still let's them start games flat as pancake and sits there looking lost.

Leicester player move was passing on Pereira for Aurier. That I no doubt believe would have been Levys move.

On what basis? Aurier was signed the window before he went to Leicester, and for pretty much the same amount.

I think we know enough after 5 years to confidently say that Poch isn't necessarily a good 'scout', so I wouldn't rule out that being his doing.

And basically everyone on here was adamant that Ricardo was a shit defender and we got a great deal for Serge because of his legal issues

He ended up getting the better player 5 months later. Why do people still harp on about this? Poch passing on Tielemans proved to be a good decision.

I see no reason to not have Tielemans and Ndombele in the same squad. Besides it’s November, and now Ndombele is starting games. We’ve played or “played” since August.

The race is on. Which set of fans will get their Manager sacked first. Man United, Arsenal, or Spurs? Arsenal have the lead at the moment but the Spurs fans are coming up fast. May the worst set of fans win.

Arsenal just lost to Leicester 2-0 by the way. The establishment is being over thrown. This league is unforgivable. It’s not just us

Ndombele and Lo Celso are better than Tielemans.

The point is, he was part of the process that chose not to add to the squad during those periods.

And nothing is determined yet comparing those players, Ndombele is absolute quality though.

I have the absolute utmost respect and appreciation for what Pochettino has done for us, but surely at this point its genuinely time for change? Nothing is indicating progress. These wins against a totally abject Red Star are the same as the CL run/final, just papering over the cracks and they're just getting wider and wider. Ranieri got the boot from Leicester what, 9 months after winning them the league? When its over its over. Flogging a dead horse.

Not really? That would suggest that the squad has been very stable. Integrating three new players in a squad when no major players left shouldn't be a massive challenge.
It is when a lot of the players have lost their desire, want to leave for a new challenge, or are not what they used to be because of injury. Squads go in cycles, and we allowed ours to go stale, that’s the long and short of it.

Yep. I don't really have a lot of time for retrospective transfer blame stuff. A lot of people laughed when Liverpool paid £30m+ for Salah, a lot went mental when we didn't sign Boufal... I don't think we, as fans, know what we're talking about with buying non PL players, so I think it's a bit unfair to be angry at people in the club for signing the "wrong" player, when it's only wrong due to retrospective analysis.

We’re still in the market for another player of Tielemans’ type even after having signed Ndombele and Lo Celso, as seen by our chase of the likes of Bruno. Tielemans is a quality player who would have made a massive difference last season and at the beginning of this season. Poch turning his nose up at a quality CM playmaker and choosing to persist with a threadbare squad last January was an enormous mistake which contributed greatly to the rot setting in. He’s made many poor scouting choices in his time here, it’s been a huge fucking problem over the past four seasons or so.
