I have it on good authority that away from football Mourinho is the nicest bloke you could ever meet
I suspect that is true, when he has all that compensation sloshing around each time he gets the "Spanish Archer". Football has made him a very wealthy individual, so why be anything but nice.

It's not that he isn't nice that's the problem. I'm sure he's lovely. Interviews away from the football spotlight show his other side and that side is pleasant enough.

It's his football side that I dislike.

But we barely get a glimpse of it, or at least the glimpse we do get is the bit he wants us to see.

Some seriously great footballers have sung his praises over the years. Sure he plays up but it’s usually for a reason. He looked massively fed up at United but he was good value and very very protective of his players etc when at Chelsea.
He’s good at the ‘the world against us’ mentality. Obviously depends on the players he has at his disposal. We certainly don’t have enough winners or shitebags at the club so maybe he wouldn’t fit in with what’s here anyway?

And John Terry paid for that kiddie's funeral. Perhaps we should get him in as a defense coach.

Rafa for me if the worst happened.

Would be happy to bow under Levys dictatorship, would demand respect from the players, great tactician.

Would quietly get in with the job.

Can I just say how funny it is that a lot of you Voted for Jose Mourinho, Is that because a lot of you are caught up in the Media world in thinking that only a EPL Manager with EPL exp. can achieve anything at Spurs because we are an EPL Club ?

I honestly don't get how Mourinho could be 2nd in this poll, if Poch goes, Allegri for me. I just saw what Jose did at United, IDK if he could not succeed there, why would he succeed here at Tottenham.

"It is better to fail aiming high than to succeed aiming low. And we of Spurs have set our sights very high, so high in fact that even failure will have in it an echo of glory."

And would cost a fuckton to get.

Can people stop using that fucking quote for everything.

One thing to remember is the Prem league is a whole different thing to bundesliga and other leagues. Good manager's can look poor in the Prem. It takes exceptional managers to succeed in the Prem. I'd worry about going for someone who hasn't won anything elsewhere. Poch was a gamble that worked, but most of the time it doesn't work.

A new manager are not gonna change anything but short term this season. I bring this problem to the players, not Pochettino. This is mutiny. This is the worst season we had so far with Pochettino, we should let him try to overcome this. Fuck top 4. Let us try to survive, and start with new sheet next season.

I don’t mind Mourinho or Benitez , they have the experience in PL.

Not Howe- we don’t need another on the job training manager.

My left field choice - Marcelo Gallardo , River plate manager who is also their most successful in their 118 year history. Currently rumored for Barca job. Voted 2nd best coach in world in 2018 after beating Boca at Madrid in Copa Libertadores. I don’t know if he speaks English . But Has played in Europe as a player for 5 seasons in France & one season in US. So there is some experience outside comfort zone . IMO a better option than Allegri.

Kinda shocked to realise there isn't a single name on that list I really fancy. Christ.

Rafa I think would be top of my list - have always liked him, even when he was being a dick. He's a real football man who always fights hard for his club. Fans and players always seem to respond to him. Capable of playing decent football, and his versatile approach I think would really suit our squad. Just gone to China, but you can be certain he has contract release clauses (assuming he wants back into the PL, which isn't guaranteed I guess).

I've always thought Ancelotti's sacking by Chelsea was one of the worst in PL history. Don't fancy him now as much as I would've done a few years back, but I'll throw his name out there. Not sure his situation at Napoli, who he only recently joined.

I like Jose personally, but not for Spurs. Strong no. Would legit prefer Sherwood over Rodgers.

One bad run and people are calling for Poch to go.

Wow.

Are people forgetting that he took us to a CL final a couple of months ago?

Have people forgotten that night in Amsterdam?

Even if in jest, no-one should mention Sherwood. He’s the Candyman of the footballing world: say his name three times and before you know it the weird fuckbrick will be in the technical area being shit again
