Colchester has 0 shots on target in 90 minutes. We are a complete bottle job from top to bottom. And we worry about Mourinho coming in! Couldn’t do any worse.

I’ll say it. I want Mourinho. He’s a winner. He’s what we need. If he comes and I’m wrong then I’ll hold my hands up and say I got it wrong but he’s the best replacement we could seriously get.

Edit: who do the disagrees want then when Poch goes?

It’s bad enough when we can’t break through a Newcastle defence. To go out to a league 2 side and not register a goal is dire. This team is bust. There is major surgery needed - starting with the manager.

I think Diminutive Dan might agree!

@Gb160 well mate what did I say Saturday about this game and that we could lose it sadly the writing has been on the wall, now all I am waiting for is captain propaganda to appear and say it never happened. ;)

Jose LMAO.

Amused and terrified in equal manner that alot of spurs supporters think he's an ideal replacement. Despite royally taking the piss put of him at United the last 2 years

It's simply delicious

Lol not my choice. It seems to be the rumour.

But it's not just that though, is it?
We've been shit for ages now and I can't see how it's going to improve.
I think Poch has lost it and has no idea how to get it back, as sad as that may be.
I can see how we can improve. Play a fucking DM and get back to basics.

We haven't played well, but we reached the CL final at that time and we haven't actually done as badly as some people say.

Poch deserves the season, he has earnt time and we are not going down or anything. Any fan would think we are batshitcrazy to want to get rid of Poch, and tbh I think we would. This btw is a season start that when before Poch came would be perfectly fine. Imagine if we won against Leicester and Arsenal, both games we should have won. We would be sitting in third with the same points as City. If that consivable thing happened fans would be excited and talking about the title.

There are problems, mainly two or three. 1) defensive shape, 2) panic mentality 3)build up from the back. These are things that can be solved. Today Poch himself was almost certainly experimenting with solutions to 1 in particular. Funnily enough there actually was enough today to think that maybe three in the back is a solution. It created more width, we were very solid, admittedly towards a poor side and all that. Maybe it's not a solution but don't for a second believe he was playing three at the back as a response to colchester. This was an experiment for him. He is trying solutions. Give him time.

Yes that CL final was shit too.

Seriously sort yourselves out.

The Champions League final was shit - we played without any intensity or desire and it ended up being a damp squib. We all loved the run, but 4 games against City and Ajax (two of which we lost) don't make up for 10 months of turgid, unsuccessful football.

Didn’t Liverpool go out to a shit team in the LC last year?

Yeah, it’s disappointing, but it is a competition that big clubs are happy to palm off, particularly in the early stages.

Lose our next couple in the league and hang Poch out to dry, but not for this waste of a competition.
Precisely. It’s not time to rip it all up and start again just yet, that will put us back years potentially.

Even if anyone doesn't care about the cup, please do care about the shambolic performance against a club sitting at 10th place three tiers below us.

I don't want him gone yet, I think he's still got enough credit to try and turn it around before Xmas.

However, calling any of these responses 'fickle' is a joke - we haven't won an away game since January and our form since April has been relegation level.

Well, it's only been downhill for 9 months now. I feel it's very optimistic to think that he'll be able to turn this around as we've seen almost nothing that points to the contrary except the Palace win which now almost looks like a fluke more than anything else.
