He did say that it would be painful. Changes were needed
And sadly they havent been made. We needed that rebuild. We badly needed Toby and Eriksen to go and probably Rose to go, if Poch really wanted that. Hopefully when everyone gets fit, Poch can ostracize a few from the team. I reckon we will end the season with a new CB partnership(probably have to buy one in January),Sessegnon at LB and GLC at the #10. Could see Eriksen and Toby dropped entirely with Rose and Jan just making the bench. He did say that it would be painful. Changes were needed
Touché... thats good work.We did, only we weren’t allowed to use the good silverware.
Surely the evidence so far shows that Poch is on Eriksens side in all this. He keeps picking him and throwing him on when we need goals despite his performances. And sadly they havent been made. Definitely not, I think he knows hes having a mare and is feeling the pressure massively. I bet he's also well aware that's it's nothing compared to when you're at Madrid, which is probably making him feel even worse as he sees his dream slipping away
The answer or problem is probably somewhere in middle. While I agree that some of the players seem to be going through the motions, I also would say that there is cause for it. You mention certain games like Palace being blown away, then the one before that Dortmund last season, what about the games in between? I have never doubted Poch;s coaching skills and how he wants to play, but I am not going to bury my head in the sand and say that he has good game management. Our current plight is down to Levy (very limited as funds were needed to build us a home), players, but most definitely Poch. Poch can turn us around, but he needs to take a hard look at himself as well before he spouts off to the media. And where did I ever say I wanted another Manager? You talk as if he has no in game tactics as if you haven't been impressed with our style of football in game before. Just a few games ago we blew Palace away Dortmund last season and many others games we've been a joy to watch do you want Mourinhno?
The players have become comfortable they've seen the transformation and become part of the furniture they are taking the piss, there's no way on earth Poch had instructed the players to play for a draw against Colchester. He needs to shift players out of the club (Levy has to bite the bullet and listen) who have become stagnated....example Toby Vertonghen Eriksen Rose Wanyama and others are going through the motions.

He didn’t change the game against Villa that’s just fantasyYou mean performances like turning the game against Villa, and the ones he does start like Arsenal and Palace he plays well in.
The reason he has to, and should pick him, is because we are so much better with him, and still one of our best players, even at a time when his own standards have slipped a bit.
