We look a bit too open - not sure I like the formation or the set up of the midfield, though Winks and especially Ndombele have been good in possession.

I actually think there wasn't a great deal we could've done about their goal. The guy's first touch was so good that even the paciest full back would've been taken out of the picture. Toby could've got across a bit quicker, but it was just an excellent move that deserved a goal.

So lucky to be ahead and what a contrast as we go back into the let’s wait for something to happen mode as opposed to the make things happen of last Saturday. Still with a side shorn of pretty much all its energetic players this sedentary stuff was half expected

So frustrating to see us revert to this turgid sideways and backwards shit, was hoping we'd turned a corner after the palace game. Playing an out of form CB at RB is really not helping.

Full back situation really hurting us, replace Davies with a 'fire at will' signpost, and put a signpost other side half way line to tell Sanchez 'do not pass' as he can do nothing with the ball when attacking anyway.

Playing shit so being infront is very lucky

Eriksen Dele have been terrible. Lucas goal aside has been terrible

Our only half decent performer is Winks

Shots low into his far right corner have been Hugo's kryptonite his whole career. It's so odd that a top class keeper can't seem to fix that.

Can't save them all my friend.

Am I the only one who sees Sanchez as the problem in the back four!? How we are leading this is beyond me. I honestly don't want to see Sanchez anywhere that starting 11. Can't blame him for his lack of understanding in the RB role, so that falls on Poch....Again.

Really think we need to start re-integrating Dier and see if we can get him back to what he was. Our midfield is just too open

Yep I've been saying this for ages, it can't be a coincidence our last solid season was with Dier or Wanyama in midfield. The winks/Sissoko box to box started last season and continued this season coinciding with our leaky defence.

What is it 7 goals conceded already?

We have our best most energetic performance for about 20 months then Poch decides to make load of changes bringing in less mobile, slower, less fit players and it's back to jog around mode.
If that Palace game was the culmination of a great run of form i could understand it, and i know we have hard games coming thick and fast but sometimes just stick to the basics; and don't change a winning team is football 101.

Sanchez is poor at RB. I thought its quite obvious he's very low in confidence playing RB, gets tensed up on every error leading to bigger errors.

He plays either CB or not at all.

Can't save them all my friend.
No, but he dives really weirdly when shots like that come in, it's like his technique is all wrong, he just jumps and doesn't get enough length on it. This one specifically is probably out of his reach anyway but it's a weird flaw he has.

Score's about right.
We are too hesitant.
Sanchez, Erikson awful
Ndombele very disappointing.
Davies too apart from the interception
that led to the goal.
What happened to positivity and pace?

Deserved goal back. 2-1 flatters us hugely.

Very much Pre-palace Spurs out there today. Eriksen has been gash. Sanchez is not and will never be a right back.
Sonny really is our most important player these days. I miss Dembele.
I expect our usual - one half performance - in the second half. 1-4 (Kane to get a brace)
