Seriously I really don't understand how people can judge that performance as anything but poor/awful.
I can only think the younger posters get far more excited than old timers like me who expect a little bit more.

What's his excuse when Vertonghen has been there then?

I don't want to take a player apart but we won't go on to have success with Davies at LB as he quite simply isn't dynamic enough and at times is beaten too easily.

I hope we are looking at Tierney.

If you didn't think that was awful I'm not quite sure what you were watching.

I think we need to cut the boys a bit of slack here. OK, maybe it wasn't a 5* performance, but that was the 6th match in succession in a different stadium - Huddersfield at the weekend will be 7 on the trot. That's barking.

I'm not for a minute excusing what maybe seen as a patchy performance, but the sooner we get moved in and settled into NWHL so much the better.
