Saw Hodgson today, wonder how long it will take before Dier gets a full England call-up. He's been very solid so far.

2nd best defence in the league so far as it stands... only 4 goals conceded.

When Kane starts firing we will become a weapon of mass destruction.

There may be a slight exaggeration in that.

Back from the game and very happy, terrific performance.
Still far from the finished article but it's getting better and better every game, our problem at the moment is that we are not scoring what our dominance deserves but our defense is much improved and with that foundation the rest will come pretty soon.
Oh by the way, how good is Deli Alli going to be, wow!

Yes, I'd like to see him play in the midfield 2, in the Mason position, with Dier beside him and Chadli/Erikson/Son across the frontish three. But if he continues to progress as part of the frontish 3 then I'm happy to be proven wrong by the pretty bastard ;)

Interesting thought but surely Lamela would get sent off every game if he was asked the play in the middle of the park? His tackling is horrendous

Thought Lamela played decently today, should give Chadli a breather since its not working for him at the moment. Erik- Sen- Son would be my front 3. Chadli-Alli-Townsend in Europa once mason is back.

And only 3 teams have scored *less goals than us.
*Fewer goals

There's nothing that can be done about this now until January but it was obvious that Kane needed to come off at about 75 and be replaced by our 2nd striker that we don't have.

I'm certain Harry will start scoring soon but in a position lack of competition and lack of back up shows bad squad management and it certainly showed up today.

Aside from that comment, by far our best and most solid and attacking performance of the season

Special shout out for Davies today. Gets some abuse for not being good going forward, but he attacked well today, especially in the second half.

There was a ridiculous piece of skill by Lamela midway through the second half when he controlled the ball and completely took a Palace player out of the game. Sublime.

Mate he's more creative than Eriksen albeit the latter is a much bigger goal threat...but the key is Eriksen can play from the left and we wouldn't lose that goal threat really yet the three of Eriksen, Lamela and Son could interchange really well - as they did for the goal.

And that goal doesn't happen without Lamela scrapping for the ball and setting Eriksen away either.

Is he bollocks. But yeah we can play both

Just got back from the game and really pleased with the result against a decent and very well organised Palace side.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm very excited to see this young team develop and I'm extremely optimistic about the future of the club right now.
It's an amazingly exciting time with the new stadium coming as well. By the time it's done we should have a fantastic, well-oiled beast of a dynamic squad to take into it.

New stadium, great squad of young, hungry, talented players; great academy, fantastic training facilities, great manager.

Bright, bright future ahead; going to thoroughly enjoy the road there.

I'm really proud of what we're doing. The whole project is cohesive and well thought through to sustain us for many many years.
