That's just Benfica fans buying tickets once they went on general sale. It only got to that stage because there wasn't enough demand from our members for the match to sell out. Can't really complain about it. It's what I and many other Spurs fans did at the San Siro

Need to be a One Hotspur member to buy StubHub tickets for Sunday before anyone thinks the same will happen then.

As a ST holder I received an email from the club about stubhub today.

They are basically banning second listings of the same ticket, to prevent a ST holder selling it at a decent price, it being bought by a tout and resisted at a stupid price.

It's a start I suppose.

I just got that too. It reads as follows:

"Further to the recent update posted on the Club's website (19 February 2014) regarding our partnership with StubHub, we are contacting all One Hotspur Season Ticket Holders and Members to advise of an immediate amendment to the ticket resale process.
With immediate effect the relisting of tickets on the StubHub platform will be prevented and prohibited to ensure that season ticket holders wishing to list at a reasonable price can be reassured that those same tickets cannot be purchased and resold at a higher price. An additional clause has been added to the One Hotspur Terms and Conditions to reflect this alteration:

"5.3 Only Platinum, Gold and Silver Season Ticket holders can list a seat for sale on the StubHub platform for matches at White Hart Lane. Tickets purchased directly via StubHub for Tottenham Hotspur matches cannot be re-listed for sale. In the event that a purchaser is unable to attend a fixture after they have purchased a ticket via StubHub, the purchaser should contact StubHub customer services on 0800 358 8585 for further assistance."

As mentioned in the statement referenced above, we are continuing to work with our colleagues at StubHub to identify additional amendments to the current processes to ensure that the system operates in a fair and transparent way for the benefit of all supporters.

Kind regards,
Tottenham Hotspur"

This is just a token gesture as whilst there is a partnership there will never be a cap on prices.

I have a quick ticket question if anyone can help? Slightly off topic for this thread but I thought I'd put it in here instead of starting a new thread. I just booked a ticket online for tonight's game but haven't received any printable ticket or anything. Haven't been to the Lane in a while and wondered how do I get my ticket as there's no time to send it out to my address despite it saying in the confirmation email;

Deliveries will be to the following address (unless otherwise specified):

*My address*

I see a lot of info on the site about Stadium Access cards but I don't have one of those? Can I get a paper ticket at the ticket office or what's the deal?

Cheers guys and girls

Having a similar problem. I ordered tickets via membership cards, but they haven't sent me a confirmation email to say that the cards are now updated for the game like they normally do. Think if they don't send one by 1 o'clock I'll ring 'em, you should probably do the same. You'll most likely have to pick them up at the ticket office

Hi guys,

As a Dane I have been unable so far to go WHL - but fortunately, this will be changed next season. I could need some guidance however to the best practices of getting tickets. I've trawled the forum here looking for answers, but I haven't had much luck.

So far I've come across StubHub as the best place for me to get tickets, if I'm not travelling with an agency. Is this correct or which other options do I have? Also, if you could help me out with some of the better/loudest/less moany sections at the Lane i'd be grateful.

Cheers!

Get a bronze membership with the club and book tickets when they go on sale(you can find the dates on the website once the draw is made). The premium on top of the Stubhub tickets will probably cost you more than a membership if you buy 3 or more tickets, plus this way you don't feed the EVIL StubHub and Spurs partnership.

Best place to get tickets is Park Lane lower(South Lower) although how close to the away fans you want to be will affect what block. Difficult to avoid moaning at WHL these days :( hopefully the atmosphere picks up under Sherwood.

God dag!

Uhm, let's see
First of all, I'm happy for you!

Now, last season, Spurs very often, in fact nigh always, released plenty of tickets on short notice, during the days preceding each home match. I got plenty of tickets that way, because I could easily work with short notices. These tickets were available through their own website, on general sale. I do not know whether this will happen again next season.

Of course, you can also pay to become and member, and you are almost guaranteed seats too if you are a member (bronze will do).

There is also a twitter account which works fairly well @HotspurTickets. It is said that the club monitor the account, but I don't know....

I actually quite enjoy section B. I like the view from there, both towards one of the goals and diagonally across the pitch. The section is really quiet though, and some seats there are best avoided due to restricted views.

Still on the east side, I also visited section 27 last season. That provides great sense of intimacy with the game, but not too much of a handy overview.

Section 30-32 tend to be really lively, actually.

Wouldn't they have been tickets returned by the away club? If so that would limit your options of games to go to as the away fans will fill their quota for a lot of the big matches. Also travelling last minute from Denmark must be pretty expensive.

No, they were not. Reason why, the tickets I'm talking about were scattered throughout the stadium, except for in the away end.

I am looking for 2 tickets for the QPR game for me and a mate (both adults)

Been on Stubhub and there are 2 next to each other but one of them is a child ticket. Both tickets however are listed at the same price (face value of an adult ticket).

Does anyone know whether i'd be allowed in to the stadium as an adult with this child ticket?

you can buy the child ticket and then upgrade it to a adult ticket at the ground, will cost about £20 though, might be cheaper for lower category games

Actually, if i'd thought about it, this makes a lot of sense - i mean, it's not like you'd get in there and find they'd replaced the normal flap down plastic seat with a high chair or something.

Apologies in advance for the thread bump...

Basically, I have some time off next month & was thinking of going on a mission somewhere & thought that it'd be good to make my first pilgrimage to The Lane, after a quarter-century of supporting from a distance. The Liverpool game falls in that week - looked into tickets & its pretty much StubHub or nothing. I'm sure some of you have used it so what's the deal? Is it reliable? It says tickets have to be picked up on the day, how does that work, meet the seller at the ground? I probably sound a bit thick but I'm new to all this & I'd love to finally get to a game at the Lane. Any advice would be hugely appreciated...:)

I could get you a ticket on my membership dude.

Not sure if that's outside of any rules here though!
