Well it clearly passed through Chadli's mind because he did what he should have done against Fiorentina and removed all chance of the keeper intercepting a pass by taking a few sideways steps.

That made the whole situation a lot easier for Kane, but he still handled the situation with consummate ease I thought.

For Kane's second goal, Chadli was offside imo when the ball was played through, so maybe Kane wasn't just being confident, he was also being clever making sure that the offside player didn't touch the ball.

This is what I thought. Kane without a doubt did the right thing even if he wasn't 100% sure if Chadli was off or not.

Fwiw though I don't think he's kicked on from promising beginnings, he's decent enough but definitely playing in a position where over the next 12 months we need him either to show good improvement, particularly in his speed of thought / decision making, or find/promote an alternative - basically for me he's not offering enough going forwards to justify his occasional defensive lapses.

Finally found a manager to really build something special here!

It all just feels so right and hearing things like that just backs it up.

He really needs to be backed in the summer, as I think he is capable of pushing this club forward unlike anyone else in recent times.

Think 'easily' is a bit much.
Sure after the super slow replay from the side you can see that but from where Kane was and running, not quite so easy.
