To be fair to him Austin has been playing in one of the worst sides in the PL. Kane's still definitely the better player, but Austin should get every credit for his goalscoring form this season.

Agreed. I thought Austin looked very dangerous today.

The one thing that is disappointing is we spent almost 30 million pounds on Davies, Fazio, Dier, Yedlin and Stambouli to shore up our defensive frailties, yet we look as open as ever. Granted, several of those players don't even play, but it goes to show that last summer's business really didn't do anything to sort our backline.

I'm not having a go at Austin, of course he deserves credit.

But the point is had Kane been playing since August he'd be well ahead of him in the goals column in all likelihood.

What I'm trying to say is Kane's season has been even more exceptional.

Most definitely.

Kane is also a better and more intelligent footballer-not just a goalscorer. Austin is also 4 years older than him and has over a hundred professional appearances more than Kane.

Poch gets criticised for his subs quite often, today despite being under a lot of pressure I think they were quite sensible which is promising.

In what way? He did what he always did to me... Swapped the attacking midfielders, then his last sub is either the bench striker or the central midfielder depending on whether we are winning or losing. I cant say the subs made any difference today either. Dembele was a bit meh, Lamela in his brief moments on the ball gave it away, Stambouli was on for mere seconds. I don't see any real impact or change to the game.

@HotspurRelated: The Spurs team that beat QPR today was the youngest side fielded in the Premier League this season with a average of 23 years and 290 days.

Wasnt a great performance at all. But we won and thats all that matters. A weeks rest until United will do good. Need at least a point out of that one.

Spurs have now scored 22 goals in the Premier League during 2015, at least 3 more than any other side.
Only thing this tells me is that our back 4 is shocking. As our GD hasn't gone up much.

Stop moaning guys. We took six points this week after the disappointment of the cup final and playing so many games I'm a short amount of time. Was never going to be easy.

Exactly. And now, crucially, we have a clear week's rest ahead to recover and prepare for United. No more Europa is a huge plus.

People are underestimating how much fatigue would of been played a part in the last few weeks. And not just physical, but mental fatigue which is probably why we're shipping goals left, right and center at the moment. Our schedule has simply been brutal.

Individual errors come from a loss of concentration a lot of the time, and when you start to see them regularly, its an indication of fatigue - like we've seen with Vertonghen a few times, he's played that much. Not just tired legs, but tired minds.

Anyway, I'd of bitten your arm off for 6 points after the League Cup defeat - and then get to rest up and prepare for the run in with no Europa League. Season is far from finished yet.
