Not sure it is considering the circumstances. AVB maybe unjustly sacked but could you honestly question Sherwood's sacking after what we have witnessed?
Not saying I want Tim here tomorrow but I don't think it really makes much difference at this point unless we really want to try for 5th. I just doubt Levy would pull the trigger again this season.

I think we should leave off Sherwood. He had even less to do with the team than AVB, BAldini and Levy. He is inexperienced and did at least get Adebayour playing again. He will be gone in the summer. I think he is better off in the stands getting a good look at the way we are playing so he MIGHT do something about on the training pitch Monday. Standing on the sidelines having a rant is pointless. Passion will only take us part of the way without a gameplan. Today we had neither.

Eh so we should leave off Sherwood despite having no passion, which he is responsible for instilling, and no gameplan which is he responsible for formulating. And even from his heavenly viewpoint he could still only make subs once we were really done and dusted

when 2 senior players do that in the first 20 minutes its game over, you cant blame sherwood although imm not sure what the plan was going forward. Id like to see dawson sold, hes a fucking donkey.

I think even AVB realised that one.

Does anyone really care anymore? I'll be honest, I'm struggling to muster even any disappointment as it's so utterly predictable. And I don't really like any of our players. Or the manager. Or our non-German coaches. Or the chairman. And most of our supporters. And Chirpy is a bit of bellend to be honest

Agreed.

Yes it is TSs job to get the players up for it but the embarrassing start to the game is massively down to the players for me, as Hoddle said. They are supposed to be highly paid professionals. Absolutely unacceptable attitude.

OR THE FUCKING STARTING LINEUP?

SIGGI a midefielder with defensive duties?

BEHAVE.

Horrific attitude from the players but such amateur, AMATEUR management.

Not to argue your point but in a way your saying that neither AVB or Sherwood could make this team work but LVG could?

I cannot see LVG (or any new manager) making a shit load of success with this defence, midfield, or what's mistaken for strikers. (Ade excepted).

We have one creative player, a very good keeper, a half decent right back and one defensive midfielder with balls and a half decent forward. That's not where any new manager would want to start from.

I don't believe that we only possess 5 worthwhile players as you seem to be suggesting. At all.

My other suggestion apart from the new TV comes from something I noticed at church this morning, which was that a local family has hired their own nun. Maybe we need a club Rabbi?
Woody Allen for club Rabbi!

Haven't seen the game, have recorded it, we played well right? I really feel like we can get revenge on Liverpool this time.

No spoilers please.

Interesting to hear Brendan Rodgers talk about his team being aggressive, when could you ever say that about us?

Just about the players attitude, pointed out Vertonghen in the tunnel looking disinterested and then he fluffs an easy clearance in the opening few minutes.

Well, then he is right. It seems that the players have no one to look for for guidance, inspiration, tactics... etc.
