Really gutted about this one, really wanted him to sign but sadly not going to happen now.

If there was one single thing that I was expecting to get out of the Bale deal it was for it to allow us to, whether by hook or crook, get this Coentrao deal over the line. Severely disappointing that it hasn't happened. If wages were the problem then I'd have thought that we could wrangle out a loan for him at least, or if not then maybe for someone like Jese. Instead we're seeing Madrid enormously strengthening out fiercest rival. This "relationship" isn't the most fulfilling really is it?

(Above is broken record by now I'm sure. Forgive me, just got here. Venting)

This relationship, I'd seriously like to know the details of it. Release it publicly. They buy our best players, sell their best players to our rivals, and don't sell us anyone? Seriously? What kind of a relationship is that?

It was a marketing relationship and that's about it.

Real Madrid have royally fucked us in the arse in this transfer window.

I still think that this is an over-reaction. They can, and will, sell their players to whoever they want. If they've sold Ozil to our rivals that's not exactly something we can help. We've just received the highest transfer fee in history and bought half a squad for one player alone. Sure, the best player we've had in ages, but regardless made a fuckton of cash out of them. I wouldn't say they've fucked us up after we've manage to squeeze ridiculously good money out of them.

Indeed. We negotiated a deal that was to our liking. Beyond that they owe us nothing.

I'm more pissed that nobody has hijacked the Ozil deal. Come on Chelsea FFS, it's the only thing you're good at. You know you want another attacking midfielder.

My only hope for Coentrao is a loan deal. It doesn't seem like he is sold on signing for us but if he comes to us on loan he will fall in love with us and sign.

By making our 7 purchases effectively FREE. The B A S T A R D S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Effectively free? We've lost the best player in the country and haven't created a clear cut chance on goal in 270 minutes of prem football.

It's early days but to claim we haven't lost anything and have gained is incorrect in my view.
