Of course Kevin Keegsn wants the facts. He LOVES 'em.I don't think that's quite what he said, the way I read it was the guy said to him "There's been a shitload of positive ITK on SC about Lewis spending big AND keeping Bale", to which JJ responded not what he was hearing. The guy then said something like "let them down slowly" and KK then said he wanted to get all the facts rather than use his opinion.
And I put that together and came up as that's the reason he hasn't made any reference to Jaspers info on here as he wanted to get 'the facts' first.

We could do with some defender ITK today please.
Uncle Joe made the funds available to the tune of 50 million on top of the budget we already had (unknown to me)
We have TV money and money we can shake of the pay roll Uncle Joe wants CL Football and has given the company the money it needs to do so
This information is gold
The information that was passed onto me was that Bale had a new contract in front of him and it looked VERY likely that he would sign it I may of jumped the gun with my info and for this I am sorry
I still think that if we sell him it will be for BIG money and that it will come with some nice players attached to it.
Defender is an arcade video game developed and released by Williams Electronics in 1980. A shooting gamefeaturing two-dimensional (2D) graphics, the game is set on a fictional planet where the player must defeat waves of invading aliens while protecting astronauts. Development was led by Eugene Jarvis, a pinball programmer at Williams; Defender was Jarvis' first video game project, and drew inspiration from Space Invaders and Asteroids. Williams planned to display the game at the Amusement & Music Operators Association (AMOA) trade show, though development delays resulted in the team working on the game up until the show started.
Defender was commercially successful, selling over 55,000 units to become the company's best selling arcade game. Praise among critics focused on the game's audio-visuals and gameplay. It is frequently listed as one of Jarvis' best contributions to the video game industry, as well as one of the most difficult video games. Defenderwas ported to numerous platforms, inspired the development of other games, and was followed by sequels and many imitations.
To celebrate the 50,000th Defender in production a special upright cabinet was painted all gold. The machine was later found in a warehouse by Larry DeMar, shipped to Eugene Jarvis’ basement, and then presented to President Mike Stroll for his 65th birthday.
