Not knocking the guy. Just we should be careful about getting too excited as we might have a long way to go yet.

Yep agreed. I'm not getting excited until I hear officially, like from the Velencia chairman etc, that we've agreed a fee. Then we get excited about us concluding the deal.

Appreciate having LLM, WPD and Grey Fox all come out singing the same hymn regarding Valencia's current deportment and rebrab giving similiar tunes. It shows either Valencia really are capitulating or we are extremely confident that it will happen. Salt and all that but I am calmly choosing to believe the deal will go through.

But I think you need to read the rules thread. So wind it in please lest your access be stripped from you, leaving you stood there, naked, wearing nothing but a smile. And nobody wants to see you lose your access, let alone see you naked.

The problem with the ITK's is they all jump the gun to try and be the first to confirm. Either that or their source has done the exact same thing. I do believe we have lots of ITK's on this board with some very solid info, but sometimes it's better to err on the side of caution because there are a lot of people on here who will take the word of an ITK as gospel and get very upset when it doesn't come off.

For our part, it's best to keep ourselves in check. Nothing is official until it's official!

I know rules is rules but I thought Matt's post wasn't bashing any specific ITK but just was implying that a lot say done when it isn't so don't get your hopes up. Another way of saying take everything with a pinch of salt. The dictionary bit was just an attempt at humour rather than a unveiled insult.

Start banning people for advising caution against believing ITK and misunderstood attempts at humour and you may aswell turn that banstick around for some self abuse!

Agreed, Norwich and Villa are the obvious choices. I guess the only reason they might is I think their back up for both positions is crap and Kyle can technically cover both.

Valencia have £22m to £26m as good as in there grubby little mits and will effectively have to give it back find someone else and start all over again if we don't do the deal and if we drop the deal why would anyone else give them what they want when we wouldn't?
They have already spent that money in their heads so they are well and truly hooked, they can't let go now, why would they anyway its a fair deal.

Well were out of the cup but at least we have a new striker soldado number 9 welcome.

That was in responce to my info i have already had and from what grey fox said!! Am i not allowed an opinoin from ITK as well? I didnt say i have spoke to my biatch! i didnt say i heard anything new!
I am busy at work so i cant always reply straight away!

I havnt said done! I said welcome! I was told we think this will be done but it isnt done yet! Could take a couple of days! They are talking to clubs for a replacement and told us they want some time to look for one! I think they want soldado to put a transfer request in but cant see that happening!!!!
That is all i know! Going back to work!

The confusion is probably because you worded it nothing like you would word an opinion. You might not have said "done" but the English language is varied so unsurprisingly there's more than one way to say it. You said we had a new striker, Soldado. Sorry but if you claim to be ITK is it really any surprise to you that people tend to think you're saying it's done?
