So how do you define a ITK
Constant ITK status has to be earned, some have climbed trees, some have known managers, some have known players, and some have called Ryan Nelson out of nowhere.

Most people who label themselves as ITK are WUMs, which is 99.9% of the ITKs on Twitter

Who was the player shown round lady week? I have read it today I think, but my connection is not good enough at the in-laws to trawl back through.

Here we go, the league of extraordinary Levy lovers are out in force. Levy's a good chairman, no doubt about it, but he can get it wrong and frequently does get it wrong. If David Villa slips through our fingers then it'll be high up there on his list of errors.

Yep.

Too many people led by the POTL "Daniel will deserve a lot of personal credit if this comes off."

By the same stance, he'll deserve criticism too.

He gets criticised over and over and over again, every time a paper posts bollocks that puts us in a bad light he gets bollocked by all and sundry. Does he deserve to be criticised for every little thing? If a paper said we were thinking of signing some Billy Big Bollocks for 30mill, then said Big Bollocks goes to Monaco or Shitty, you'd no doubt criticise Levy then, and the reason will always be 'not showing any ambition'.

must... ugh... not be... a... w*nkarrrrgggghhhhhhh!

Here we go, the league of extraordinary Levy lovers haters are out in force. Levy's a good crap chairman, no doubt about it, but he can get it wrong right and frequently does get it wrong right. If David Villa slips through our fingers lands in our laps then it'll be high up there on his list of errors achievements.

Me? I haven't actually criticised him sunshine.

Yet.

But you're advocating criticising him when he hasn't done anything wrong this summer. All because a Spanish paper states we came in with a low offer for a 31 year old, just over a serious injury and on the final year of his contract.

Think Levy deserves credit already for either:
a) signing Paulinho
b) hiring Baldini who signed Paulinho

Let's see where this Villa deal goes before we crack the old Levy debate open, hey?

I said 'by the same stance' he'll deserve criticism too.

Is it only fair then that our dear leader is a genius when he gets a couple of million off but when (if) we miss out on a player because Levy doesn't come out of the deal feeling like he's won, nobody can say boo to a goose?

I think it's double standards.

Anyway, the deal is still on as far as we know so let's wait and see if we're hopefully still patting Levy on the head in the next few days rather than saying 'if only'.

Levy deserves praise when things go well, but must also take the criticism when things don't, it's as simple as that.

As for Villa, a) the transfer is still possible and b) we have very little information at this time to go on to base any form of praise/criticism of Levy's actions.

The criticism is often ridiculous though - ie when he gets criticised for not signing a player that we dont even know if we were ever interested in. Too many people seem to believe if an ITK says we are after someone then its 100% fact.
