Good news. Tips aplenty tonight from outside the Emirates. Jerking off hobos for loose change wasn't a conscious career choice but occasionally the change falls through the holes in their pockets & it really pays off.

I like the look of this Bernard chap, if we were to play the same formation as last season, 4-2-3-1, would he play on the attacking left 3?

I'd hope so.

My preference would be Bernard-Holtby-Bale forming the 3 behind the striker. It's a good, fluid group with creativity and goals in it.

Would it be possible for Bernard & Bale to switch if things aren't going to plan, is Bernard as effective on the right as he is on the left?

He switches between the two pretty frequently. So, even if Holtby stays central (in his preferred/best position), we could have Bernard and Bale doing what Bale/Lennon did this season to great effect. The difference being that Bernard's final ball appears to be of much higher quality than Lennon, and he should score at a better rate once he gets acclimated to the EPL.

I do like the sound of that. I guess you could also play Bernard-Bale-Lennon too, the pace of those 3 would cause defences to run away in the opposite direction.

DM/CB from Juventus. Kind of an interesting guy. I've only seen him maybe 2 times (against Celtic in CL is the one I remember) but he'd provide quality cover for us in two positions.
