Lloris is overrated for me. He makes good saves but he's not physical enough and his command of the box leaves a bit to be desired.

Still, Friedel is declining quicker than I thought. I think that if he's going to give up goals like that against West Brom it's time for a change.

He may be declining but on how many occasions did he save us on Saturday?
It was a system change that cost us the game and not Friedel.
Lloris will be a massive success in the Premiership and will have a perfect deputy in Friedel if the signing comes off.

Must be movement on Carroll then but I'd be loathed to speak about Liverpool's transfer business on our ITK read!
had my geordie mate saying they had 15 mill bid accepted earlier by didn't think i would post it on here.

i refuse to believe they'd make themselves look so silly by doing that 20 mills loss??? cant see it, but then again it is the bindippers lol

Maybe the back up striker could be a Real Madrid youngster (Joselu?) on Loan which would free us up to spend our budget on M'vila, Dembele, Lloris and willian.

im not sure about that. The bin-dippers, for some unknown god damn reason, still seem to have some pulling power. See mr N. Sahin for further details.

If the reason(s) as to why Liverpool maybe an attractive club really aren't obvious to you then you need to research football a little.

I'd like to think id pick playing for spurs over them given the choice but I, like you, am bias in my feelings. (plus Levy didn't want to pay my £3.25 bus fare to the lodge)

Dutch tv say that Liverpool are interested and would pay the 22m asking price

Where the fuck do they get this money to burn?

I thought that the Tories lowered the benefits as a rule?

Owners have to dig deep in their pockets if thats gonna happen, same as earlier this summer and same as last summer.
Most their players are on way to high wages compared to ability, so they can barely give them away (Kuyt, Aquallini, Bellamy etch) so the owners have to pay up.

No way will we sign Carroll, he would be useful against Stoke but other than that he is just a poor man's Adebayor and we have Ade already

As per Wiki. So "actiondan" is that dumb? I call it well informed.

Probably just a mistake mate don't worry about it. I just got a disagree for correctly posting "Mandanda" to Ryan's question about France's number 2!! It's just one of those things that people scroll and accidentally vote.

If they can get £15m for Carroll then they should be grateful for it. He'll never be worth more than that and they will never find a bidder as daft as they were in overpaying by a tune of £20-25m.

Ah, I forgot, the East-End porno twins are lurking. Perhaps hope still exists afterall.

Gomes going only strengthens the Lloris move....looking a cert now.

I would go as far to say the Lloris deal is dependent on Gomes leaving so if we can recoup a fair amount for him, say circa £5million then job's a good'un!
