Just wrote a lengthy post and then it logged me out when posting! The basic jist was that Lloris is absolutely rapid off his goal line and so would suit our system better than any of our current crop.

To an extent his signing would also be a statement of intent, as he is widely regarded as one of the best GKs in the world. Take a look over at that other website where panic stricken Lyon fans are pleading for him to stay. How many times have we felt that way about a departing GK?

And on a similar note, twitter is currently full of horrified gooners who can't believe that a player of that calibre would sign for us! Think that says it all!:ROFLMAO:

Lyon's defence last season were an absolute shambles - Lloris saved their skins on many occasions.

I checked the passports, Nelson's two years younger, and is more agile between the sticks.

i've also heard he's explosive..........

back on topic, isco is the one i want. He'll be a superstar in 12-18mths and if we're truly committed to singing young potential we should stop fannying about and put in a serious offer before someone else surely does.

Got a text from a Liverpool supporting/based friend who claims to know a couple of liverpool players, not the attention seeking type, text read 'Huntelaar signing for pool this week'

With Schalke letting him go, would they be likely to come back in for van der Vaart?? They were interested earlier this summer...

Dutch tv say that Liverpool are interested and would pay the 22m asking price

Where the fuck do they get this money to burn?

I thought that the Tories lowered the benefits as a rule?

Lloris, Dembele and Willian will do me flipping lovely thanks very much.

Genuine cover for Ade as well, would see us sorted.

Quite excited about the prospect of getting Lloris. As important as it will be to get a new central midfielder, it would be great to have a young, classy keeper in the team.

Must be movement on Carroll then but I'd be loathed to speak about Liverpool's transfer business on our ITK read!

im not sure about that. The bin-dippers, for some unknown god damn reason, still seem to have some pulling power. See mr N. Sahin for further details.
gotta remember that they used to be fucking good.

Chelsea and Arsenal have the prestige of having CL but Liverpool were really good in the early 2000s, won a CL. That gained them a lot of support from this generation, and for those who aren't familiar with English football like Huntelaar they're more prestigious than us.
