If it's posted on SO or FTL, it'll be posted on COYS within minutes, so not wanting it posted on SC is naive. If you're really worried about getting bollocked by your source, don't post it anywhere, or do the anonymous thing like the Goat. Asking for it not to be posted elsewhere is wishful thinking, once the genie is out you're not getting it back into the bottle.

Yes. As pro-Sahin as I am, I have downplayed my love of this kid. There is nobody who plays outside of WHL that I like more. And nobody outside of Messi obviously who I would want to play in our shirt more. And to watch him go to Arsenal would have been too much. I can't even be reasonable about the rumor aspect of the Arsenal link. I saw it and I was ready to walk away from the game for a year. I can't handle Sahin in that red jersey. I can't do it.
So the fact that we might be taking him a bit more seriously has actually given me a high. The endorphine release based on this is fucked up. And I just worked out, so I should have used them up a bit ago. But I found a reserve.
I will be buying a Bronze membership after all. My kid's getting a Sahin shirt. I am getting a Sahin shirt. I might get one for my cat.
It may not happen, and that will be sad.
But as long as I don't see him in a Gooner or Scouse kit, I can deal. But the second he goes to them, I am done.
By the way. 100 pound donation if Sahin is bought.

Now I'm getting my hopes up. Sahin would be an immense signing. We'd still get a huge wedge from Madrid (25m+ pounds) plus a huge young replacement at a non inflated price.

So could work like
- Clubs apart in the fee, impasse
- Sahin proffered as a makeweight to bridge the difference in fee offered / fee demanded
- But Sahin doesn't want to move
...
- Real budge some on the fee (as reported today)
- Loan "prove you're fit and worth it and come back to Real in a season" to bridge the remaining, smaller gap
