By then it had been quoted and was on COYS, etc. Once it's all over the other sites it's stupid to leave it off here as the discussion thread will be full of people talking about it and then others asking what the info was. Once it's out and on the other forums it has to go in the RO.

I have to say that I'm a little disappointed with the SC/Bizness spat. While it is certainly true that once an item is posted anywhere (even if it's exclusively on FTL) it will get out and potentially 'go viral', I don't see what harm it would have done to accede to the request of Biz not to post it in the RO - at least until he received the thumbs-up from Ben. After all, I recall that JJ was a little indiscreet once and his post was deleted minutes after it appeared.

Now a long-standing member, and a top (possibly the top) SC ITK whore is pissed off, all for no good reason. Which might result in less information heading this way and bad feeling between SC and FTL. It just seems a little unneccessary.

We waited until it was all over the other forums before putting it in the RO. That's the best we can do and is all that makes sense.

BEN never asked for it to be private and never has with anything he posted. Biz decided himself, seconds after posting it that he suddenly needed to ask permission after posting Ben's stuff for years.
