Hello Fellow members

1. Gabriel agbonlahor is out of contract in the near future. His agent nor villa know about a private meeting between gabby and I cant say whoelse. In a location I cant say either. Another of harrys scouts flew to spain to speak to luis fabiano, however spurs want agbonlahor over him, im assuming due to age and settling issues. Otherwise we could sign fabiano.

Take that as you want to.

2. We are selling 10 players, im assuming a mix of first team squad and youth.

3. If we make it through the champions league qualifiers we will have 180 mill to spend, Plus what we make from sales.

4. We are very close to signing someone from englands 23 Man squad, although it will not happen until after the world cup. My guess, Joe cole My dads guess is gerrard LOL i hope not upson.

Now take this as you will, I dont do In the know but i thought this was to good to not say.

In association with the 180 mill, Thats to spend, whether its just on players I wasnt told Im assuming its towards stadia, youth things like that. Either that or its what we will make.

Thanks for the info but sounds pretty suss to me. Why spend all that money when we're trying to raise some for the Stadium.

All quiet on the sponsor front as well I see.

Levy has always said if there is a player we want the cash will be there. Im guessing that £180m might not be accurate, but passed to to mean that Levy will spend big if we need to (right player and all that)

Agbonlahor seems very unlikely to me. His contract can only be up at the end of next season so Villa would still be looking to get 15m+ for him and I'm just not sure he's worth that.

Defoe is better than him and I'd much rather us look at Bellamy (who would probably cost less) if we're looking for a pacey striker.

God that's scary, a full international with a very high pedigree in scoring goals and CL experience VS Agbonlahor, that is worrying.

10 players?!?
Dervite, Alnwick, Taarabt, One of the Kyles, O'Hara, Hutton, Pav or Keane, Jenas, GDS... ok actually it could really be around 10 players...

Now the 180m part... i really cant see us spending that money, nor do i want us to become the club to spend 180m in one summer.

On Agbonlahor - wouldnt really mind him, depends on who he would replace.

Agbonlahor is no better than Keane or Defoe, or anyone else that we have really. I'd rather a couple of our youngsters got a chance before we signed Agbonlahor.

I know, but fabiano is soon to be 30, im assuming 18 mill for a 30 year old isnt levys cup of tea.

Agbonlahor strong, pacey and lethal on his day. Type of player harry would love to work with. Still young.

i can see 180M being our turnover next year with champions league, and plausibly wecould spend that much on stadium, training facility and players, but players will only be a small chunk of that.

anytime mate, I remain cynical to but the source is close to harry not just demographically either. Basically the source got me a trial at portsmouth when I was a bournemouth player. Harry managed pompey at the time.

Gabby on his day is fantastic, on his worst, he is shocking. I've watched alot of Villa games and he is a genuine threat, up alongside Defoe I can imagine giving many back lines nightmares, but he's even more wasteful than Defoe can be - if Harry can iron out the kinks, could be a fine signing.

However, can't see it happening as Villa would be loathed to sell and in the position we are in at the moment, we are better to be buying finished articles rather than projects to improve.
