Why?
A couple of dodgy results and everyone is panicing and whinging. We have never had it so good, I just wish more people would realise it...
Why?
I saw someone complain the other day about the fact that we've made a good, space requiring, movement necessitating cross to Crouch to nod down for VDV a common tactic. All that made me think was 'would you prefer the old long punts up to Mido to flick on for Keane?'.
We're going through a sticky patch at the moment, but we've got it pretty good and definitely better than when Jol was running the show. He improved us imeasurably, but for two seasons running under him our first ten games yielded 4 points. The first time round, we recovered and finished 5th, mainly off the back of Berbatovs genius, but the second time around it never looked like improving. Thanks for the great moments BMJ, but I don't want you back.

And as Daniel says, three dodgy results and some people are going all Caspar Milquetoast. WTF is their problem? This is as good as it's been for 25 years.
Says who? I never wanted him to leave and that when things were going well as they are now. The OP even says "If Harry leaves" not "should we sack Harry?". Even though I think Jol is a better manager sacking Harry would destabilise us, as it did when we sacked Jol. Still every game that Crouch gets picked ahead of everyone else is a game I lose even more patience with Redknapp.
I want the master back. The real special one. Ramos.
Managers don't usually do that well in their second spell at a club, so sadly no I wouldn't want him to come back.
If Ramos came back does that mean we'll sign Arshavin
I voted no. I love the big man and he's got a great p.r. image, but for two nagging reasons it's a no.
1 He was seriously (allegedly) thinking of jumping ship for the Toon. Who's to say that wouldn't happen again for real if another big club came in for him.
2 The law of "never go back." If you're loved and revered somewhere, especially if the manner of your departure elevates you almost to martyr / legend status, to return gives you nothing more than an opportunity to tarnish that.
How's the therapy for the emotional scarring going, Faz??
Look, Jol was and is an absolute legend, but IMO, whatever it is worth, he doesn't cut the mustard at an elite level. He is more of a Europa League sort of level man.
Martin Jol is doing well at Ajax,Chris Hughton is doing very well at Newcastle and Damien Comolli has just joined Liverpool.
Perhaps we had the DREAM TEAM and just didn't know it!
