Couldn't agree more. Any would start an exodusKane. The heart and soul of our club would be ripped out and nothing would stem the bleeding.

Bit of a bitch mentality thread. We're not a team hoping to maybe get top 4 anymore, we're a team capable of winning the league now. Of course any of our players would choose to go to Madrid but it's a hell of a lot more easy to make them not even think about that anymore.
The players at this club know that we could win the league in the next 3 years whereas in the past players knew they'd have to move to achieve that. In terms of PL vs La Liga they'd all choose winning PL and if they do that one of next two or three seasons to be honest I'd happily let any of them go to Madrid to get that CL winners medal and a bit of sunshine.
If our talisman who is 'one of our own' isn't convinced enough to stay, the other players, who were all bought in, would definitely not be convinced to stay.Levy wouldn't let an exodus happen... All our important players, with the exception of Toby, signed long term contracts in September/October.
I know we've had instances previously where one unhappy player might push through a transfer successfully, but never have we had a mass exodus - could have happened when Bale/Modric/Berbatov left, but it didn't, and you can bet your bottom dollar no more than one would be allowed to leave for a PL team.
And i expect to get tons of wtf, disagrees and BSODLs for thisDaniel Levy
Hated by many, and made several bad decisions during his tenure but it his dream that has got us this far. The new training ground and stadium will be a long lasting legacy to what he has achieved.
As Poch said the team have developed ahead of schedule so just hope that most are still here to see the fruit of his labours and to start the new Spurs dynasty.
I like any true supporter don't want any one to leave but it is another season without a trophy and we don't pay the best wages plus we haven't come close in both European competitions. Good players want to win things and if the top clubs come in for some of our players some will go.
I have a feeling that Dier and Walker might go and if Real or City offer 100 ml for Ali Levy would take it. If Levy was offered close to 200 ml for those three I'm sure he would take it especially as he is still looking for funding for the new stadium.
I'm sure there will be big offers in the summer for some of our players and in the end it will be down to Levy's resolve.

Do you believe that this makes a difference to the likes of Madrid ? All a long term contract will do is hike up the price they will pay...nothing more.
