Who would be the biggest loss to our team if Madrid came calling in the summer?

Aside from the provocative thread title, I'd love to hear who people think would be the biggest loss, if they decided to head off to pastures new in the summer?

Sissoko. This guy is so good it would break my heart if they bid £90m+ to snatch him away from us but at the end of the day money talks and I wouldn't begrudge Levy for selling them this absolute superstar.

Kane, there's no way we could buy 20 goals+ per season without sinking £250k+ per week on top of reinvesting the full amount we received for him, which we ain't gonna do!

Kane, if not him then Alli. But I don't think they will be in for any of our players.

Probably Jansen because if Kane got injured we'd be screwed. We could play Son up front but then if Rose got injured too we'd truly be up shit creek.

This thread will definitely provide some levity considering the general mood on this board after yesterday's loss.

Good grief, Charlie Brown.

But while I'm here I'll answer your happy question...

Eriksen.

On purely footballing terms, Eriksen - he's what makes us tick.

But overall, Kane represents everything that's good about the club at the moment - if he left we'd lose our whole sense of identity imo.

I'm getting so sick of seeing stuff like this after one defeat. Threads now filled with defeatist stuff, we need to win or everyone will leave, Barca in for Eriksen, Poch will be off etc. Do other fans do this to themselves all the time?

Toby, Eriksen, Kane, Alli in that order.

Kane top from a team cohesion point of view as of course being "one of our own" he's hopefully expected to be the flag carrier for years, although losing Pochettino would really fuck us over

Let's try the Brer Rabbit Briar Patch sting.
Oh no not Davies/ SIssoko, they're our core and heart of everything.

Oh no not the Briar Patch, don't throw me in the Briar Patch.
Brer Fox throws him in and it turns out
Brer Rabbit was born in the Briar Patch.

Might work.
Pre-supposes that someone from Real reads SC.

Doh! If they do I've blown it.
