What power do we fans really have?

I appreciate what you're saying Trix, but I wonder what would have happened if we'd thrashed United 4-0 and played them off the park. You think Nuno would still have been given the old 'tin tack' and if he had, I wonder what the general reaction would have been.

As I posted initially. "Just a matter of time". Might have been delayed a week or two but barring him going on a huge winning streak it was over. The players and hierarchy had seen enough. If you want to look at a a fan reaction that made a difference I'd point to the previous match when he took Lucas off despite him being the best player in the team.

I think Trix he still would of been shifted, as Mancs were in advanced talks with him. Personally I believe it was a bait to let us act! As he wanted to come back not just to the PL, but London.

I agree it was all about the timing, and it's my feeling that if we'd delayed sacking Nuno for any reason, there was every likelihood that Saudi United would have gone for Conte instead of the booby prize they went for in Eddie Howe. I wonder how accurate that is.

We can't possibly know that for sure, but we can speculate. We all know money talks in football...
