Looking at a lot of the comments on the BBC site today, there are many more negative comments about Kane than positive ones. It's embarrassing that some won't recognise a truly great striker just because he plays for a team they don't like.

Someone said 'what did he do against Gent in the Europa'? That was their whole argument about why Kane is shit. Top player has bad game shocker.

Another favourite was 'he hasn't done it in the CL'. Actually you ****s, statistically he's probably done better than anyone else except Ronaldo and Messi - 2 goals in 3 games. People seem to forget he was injured during our CL campaign and it's just wrong to suggest he hasn't performed on a higher level. He also gets stick because he hasn't done it against the top clubs apparently but actually he's scored against everyone he's played against in the PL (bar Cardiff I believe).

Yes he still has some way to go before being considered a true great but his footballing and leadership qualities are there for all to see and for anyone to suggest otherwise is weird and childish.

You're correct about Cardiff being the only team to shut him out in the PL. Last Sunday he scored his first ever goal against United, so he's scored against 24 of the 25 teams he's faced in the PL.

Thing is with Leicester harping on about winning the league is that as magnificent an achievement as it is, unless you push on, it soon becomes a distant memory. How many people still go on about Blackburn's title or Leeds for example?

I'm not sure about that, to be fair to them. People will always remember the shock wins or outstanding achievements... 'Leicester - 2016', like 'Blackburn - 95' or 'Leeds - 92', Utd Treble in 99, some team going unbeaten in 04..... They'll be remembered much more than the recent years where its alternated between City, Utd, and Chelsea.

I think there's a fairly decent chance that we're entering into a phase much like Man U did under Ferguson. I'd take that kind of sustained success over a fluke once-in-a-lifetime title.

But you couldn't really expect any more from Leicester rather than a one off, my point though was that it wont be forgotten about as was suggested.

Can't believe how much hate Lukaku is getting. They make him sound like a shit Jermaine Defoe :p
Yeh it got me interested so I ended up reading quite a lot of pages on that.
Seems to be just the pre-emptive defensive "I never liked him anyway" knowing he's definitely leaving in the summer

Other fans will rarely watch Spurs and just catch motd highlights so will only really see him live playing for England and that euro performance has probably stuck in a few minds.
That's what I think it is anyway

A Leeds fan at work says all our players are overrated and when I asked him why he thinks that he said coz they've been shit every time he's seen them play for England. You can't argue with these people.

Hull City Forum's thread is called "Leicester 1-6 Tottenham , Can't we just forfeit the points now?"

It continues:

It would be a good idea to not turn up and give them the 3 points before the club gets the hammering it deserves.

Attendance and score prediction

City 0-10 Spurs
