Deadline day and a transfer window is the perfect case study for this. Just read the ITK thread to see how many worlds are ending..
I feel like I'm missing something because I keep reading that after selling Kane we simply have to sign a bunch of expensive players, which sort of ignores that Kane only happened specifically *because* of underperforming expensive players. Like, we might have to use more of our young players? Good! That's exactly what I want!

Also Ange's way of spreading Kane's goals amongst the group seems to be working wonders at the moment. We were never signing someone to directly replace Kane, because quite frankly nobody can. We just had to find a way of replicating the output.

Remember this last week before you post your next "hot take".

Things change very quickly in football, let's keep things positive people. Ange deserves at least that already.

Was sad to see he got no service once he came on. If he had the chances Sonny did it might be different. But that's the difference between a clinical confident finisher and one who is in his own head at the moment.

yeah, completely agree. Richy seems to be more worried about performing, than just playing on instinct at the moment. i didnt watch the game but Richy on previous games is def suffering with loss of confidence

This is what spreading the kane goals looked like at Celtic. We only need to spread the goals if the 9 isn't scoring. Now Son is in and finding his mojo he can hopefully replace a lot of the Kane goals and we can stop using that strap line to make excuses for how bad richarlison has been through the middle.
